idk if the death of mr.he, real father of shenye...his death is really accident due to his experiment on the lab or what. Even if he want to adopted hexi as son of his friend that he accidentally killed or what... what he do is too much, changed his name was understandable but alter his memory (since hexi already amnesia he continues it) and even drugged him...

ofc he want to kill xu tongsheng, xu tongsheng won't stop his investigation (I think his parents case n hexi father case is probably related) & if not mistaken xu tongsheng parent died because of this factory case which related to shenyi & han group

other than former professor, i really wonder about Shenyi, his lackey is a lot and some of it have true power too.
