I have watched Mysterious Lotus Casebook also, It was a good watch. Now I just want Li Hongyi and Chengyi in a drama together , they look a bit similar.

I finished watching this drama within 4 days, didn't skip a single episode. Normally I don't watch wuxia dramas that much because its not my cup of tea but this one was truly exceptional. Every episode felt nerve-wrecking for me. Now I have to watch dramas with similar genre because I am feeling very empty and bittersweet after finishing it.

Li Lianhua is so cunning and full of shits, I just can't stop laughing when he makes Di Feishang fool.

Episode 13 was soo sweet that it made me giddy.
I am happy that they are maintaining the originality of the novel, I am just waiting for the episide when they start dating, Duan Jiaxu will act like a rogue

i am 100% satisfied with Chen ZheYuan portraying the character Duan Jiaxu, He is doing it so accurately

yuheng is like a paper doll, always getting hurt. I know it's difficult being an air crew but she is always being hurt and acts like a lotus flower.

I was truly waiting for that scene where yin yingzhou and bai fengxi had their little moment. That was so emotional that I cried for them. Like how people fall in love within a short time.

I also re-read the novel yesterday to remember the details.

I just hope they wouldn't make the SFL(Gao Xi) very mush irritating. In the novel , she was such a clingy , bad ex-gf that I can't tolerate her now in the drama even though she haven't done anything annoying till now. I hope they would conclude the misunderstanding quickly. what I didn't like in the novel was that Gu Wei didn't directly draw line with his ex-gf , he made LZ deal with SFL and it made a lil' bit of problem in his and LZ's relationship. But In the drama Gao xi isn't Gu Wei's ex-gf so I think they wouldn't make it so complex.

The drama is not completely following the novel as I expected. All of the characters are there but the storyline is quite different. Lin zhixiao was an student of geography and she didn't have this kind of problems with her dad in the novel. Gu wei and Lin Zhixiao's romance in the novel was dynamic and well balanced. I like the novel very much but I also enjoyed the 1st episode and am hopeful for the next episodes.

At first I was a bit skeptical about the drama cause there are many cdramas which started good but lost the flow or charm midway. But I am glad that I watched this. I think everything was on point, the most impressive thing is they didn't unnecessarily drag the plot and completed the drama within 15 episodes. that's why every moment of the drama was important. The chemistry between the two lead was soooo good, it wasn't forced at all. Ep 12-15 haven't been subbed yet but I have watched it without subs to quench my curiosity. Now I feel relieved.

I normally don’t watch dramas with sad ending because I can’t bear it. I even stopped watching moon lovers. But knowing the real history and the ending I started watching this drama ongoing. This is not only one of the best saeguk but also one of the best kdrama I have ever seen. I liked how the female lead never forgot to love herself, her freedom although she surrendered at last. This kind of female lead is very hard to come by. Again yisan’s obsession towards doek Im but respecting her choices, giving her options to refuse was another thing I loved. I can’ Stop watching this again and again.

I think this Ming hao guy is highly suspicious. My gut feeling says he is the mastermind behind this whole incident. If not he is at least involved in something bad.
