If they actually wanted this somewhat be in the realm of the Elite show, they failed miserably on the characters and mystery. Elite had iconic and great characters that were entertaining, messy, unpredictable, and memorable. From Carla, to Lu, to Ander, to Isadora, to Patrick, to Samuel, just everyone. It was a messy asf show but the characters were entertaining. I wished they leaned into a more campier, satirical, unpredictable, and messier story but sadly we got a flat and predictable show. A missed opportunity indeed, the cast, budget, and cinematography was there.
That was a silly, stupid, and funny two episodes and the ridiculous storytelling and scenes are it's charms. I am digging the chemistry between the two leads and I hope they keep this energy until the last episode. I am also glad that this only has 10 episodes, these type of dramas don't really need 16 episodes cause it will obviously drag.
I get the hype. An absolutely emotional, heartwarming, and touching coming-of-age story sprinkled fantastically with the time travel concept. With each passing episode, you grow fond of the four main characters played perfectly by the new rising stars in Korean Entertainment especially Choi Hyun Wook.
I'm so absolutely excited for this. I am so happy that the MC is really feminine and expressive gay guy, which irl there are gay guys who are that example is ME lmao.
This drama is quite cliche but it's entertaining af. That's why I don't hate when dramas are quite cliched if they just make it fun to watch. I like the chemistry of the two leads and acting but I do think Kim Hye Yoon just needs to improve her crying scenes because she looks like she's forcing tears to come out but she is still a promising actress and I'm enjoying her bubbly character. On the other hand, I'm quite nervous about the 16-episode mark, some dramas with that length tend to be boring in the near ending.
Fun Fact: Chan Young is not even canonically straight, in the manhwa written by the same author set in the same universe as Heesu In Class 2 (Seeing Double) his character made an appearance and came out as bisexual.
