He is an investor and not a founder/ceo. Almost everone makes mistakes with their first start- up . The smarter you are, the bigger the mistake. Sometimes you survive and sometimes you don't. But what HT did was something, every founder I know would be mad about. And it cut deeper because he was JX's bf. Business is never just business unless you are an employee. In this case to HT, money is money and the rest is different (goes for many investor/ businessman). But for a founder you expect you partner to be on your side. You are never unemotional about a business you found, or you would never keep at it. It is clear to me that most series watechers haven't worked closer with any start-uo founder/investors. You sell sometimes, or merge while losing control but only if you work with the other party through a process and get a very good price or that was the plan. If you are not a part of the process then its a hostile takeover. What HT did was a breach of an NDA. He used info about the company which was insider info to make a deal with a competitor.

Most emtrepreneurs are emotional, most CEOs have a strong ego and drive. I cant think of a single CEO/entrepreneur in this scenario who would not react. And it is worse if the person on the other side was your partner.

Because the Jiang family was not part of the Cheng-Li faction and with the expected happenings in 28 ep, the anti-cheng faction is down one important person. May be the Ji faction was also not part of Cheng group though with Ji Shuran teaming up with the Princess this may not have actually been completely true. The emperor thinks that XH helped JL because of his feeling which made the emperor weaker by also taking down Jiang family

The trailers seem to be running two episodes ahead even in case on 1 episode days. So I am keeping my expectations low.
