Haha, I don’t feel like she’s cheating on him as such, but rather I can see the restraints/not as freely/not as happy when she’s with LYX lol. Like I saw the stills of Bl and Dylan and I was like good chemistry, couple vibe. Then you saw the video and put them together with LYX video and you can clearly see the difference lol.
Kinda like I was shipping ZLH and BL quite hard due to the weibo night short clip, then I saw the comparison between her n LYX and her and ZLH, and omg ZLH and her was kinda awkward irl lol. That ship sank before the series even comes out lawl

The problem is BL is essentially LSS and YXW. Like while I was reading the book, knowing Bl and LYX will be acting as the leads, I can literally see the characters very clearly lol. I agree with many others that both BL and LYX are literally the character that just step out of the book lol.
The more difficult point is to have an actress that can act the same temperament as BL. Like in the legends, BL was great but the actress that act as BL during the day is just not great enough, you can see the disconnection, and that take you out of the story a bit. Then we have the toxic netizens that will constantly compare, there will be even more drama lol

Yea, QXT is rather flat, she’s pretty, but her role and her acting was not great, and because I know she and SwL were meant to be a pair, so doesn’t matter how good BL’s character was to him, it was never meant to be. Plus she got betrayed left and right, and yea, I didn’t want bad impression on SWL to be any deeper, as well as BL, QXT, so I’m like I’ll stop 😅

I think it to stir it up and give her more room to showcase her acting 🤷‍♀️ like I said I didn’t watch it after ep14.

Brissy here lol. These days I tend to watch only drama that has both my favourite actor and actress lol. Now and then I do try something new but I dare say very little lol (for Cdrama/hk series). I guess I have watched so many stuffs that I need the one that excite me 🤣

Lol. So YXW’s soul is a part of LSS’s soul. In the novel, in order for LSS to hatch out of her egg, she needs 99 good souls (can’t remember the exact number) and 1 evil soul. But that one evil soul escape. That’s in the novel. In the drama, I don’t remember 😅 I’m not ready to rewatch it in whole lawl. In the novel, how he recognised her (because she actually looks different), is when he was trying to kill her, they stumbled upon mirror of the past (in a middle of their fight, where he wants her body to be the vessel for YXW, and she is like uh, I know you don’t like me but trying to kill me already is just 😭), and he saw her past which is the life with him. And since mirror of the past is one’s past rather than past life, he knew immediately it was her, and not her reincarnation. The book is quite good, I like it. Would totally recommend it lol, though it’s a bit long 😅

For sure, now and then I would go back to the return of condor hero with Louis and Carmen lol. Also some of the modern drama tvb did has awesome soundtrack! They were pretty fresh back in 95-2000 lol. But after 2000, I moved to Australia so I dont get to see them as much.
i think the problem with tvb is they were so strict at their broadcasting right, that in a sense make them obsolete. like why is kdrama so popular? its easy to watch them, and because of that they have a huge international market! and so what if ppl have seen them once off a pirate site, if after you see it on your streaming site and you love that series, you would rewatch. i would love to rewatch many of the old tvb series, the one where i was tok young when it first come out, the early 90 lol

Part of it because I want to stay invested in the Main Leads, but none of them were good at acting 🙄 SWL looks dashing but I got bored 🤦‍♀️ and the bad guy she (as the evil doppelgänger) was with was cool but destined to be forever 2nd, and the one she is with is meh in look. And I didn’t want to hate her (the case of 2nd lead take over the story lol - because I would go on MDL and ppl will hate down on her lol). But I did watch part of it on YouTube concerning her story and man, that was tragic 😭

Haha I saw her in untouchable lovers, and because of her, I stopped watching that show lol! As soon as I saw she acted as 2 different characters quite convincingly, and SWL was flat even though that guy is drop dead gorgeous lol, QXT was a bit 1 dimensional too, and ZLS was stock standard bad guy lol. So I’m like I like this girl, but if I keep watching, I might not like her because her storyline is killing the leads’s storyline lol! Also the guy she gets to pair with meh… 😖 but she acted her butt off for that role lol. Then saw her in the legends, and she was the only new actress at that time didn’t annoyed me, and she was so good when she was betrayed by the evil immortal sect leader.
Her eyes can really act. And the soul/sparkles haven’t left it yet. And she’s funny! Her and LYX interactions are on another level. I’m just glad we get to see them together 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
