No. The fact that you think the producer, the novel writer, the script writer are trying to say suicide is ok is not even remotely right or close in this case. You go say that to any war hero that sacrifice themselves to win the world. 1 - the all-distress-way is already activated. There is no way to shut it down. What would he and LSS be doing then? Day and night put up a bubble n protect themselves? For how long? And how many can they save this way?
2 - just because he said words like that, doesn’t mean he’s suicidal. Understand the difference between saying comforting words to ease the pain of the love one, and actually words of a person who is giving up.
3 - do you think he would go and commit suicide if the all in distress way wasn’t there? No. He would be marrying LSS and grow old with her.

Wow, did you just try to tie committing suicide with personal sacrifice? Suicide is coward, and selfish. What he did has nothing to do with either of those feelings. He was not a coward, he was brave. And he was not selfish, he was selfless.
