Each show have it own separate budget or they wouldn’t be able to film both shows around the same time. I think…
I think they would do this in a single special episode if they don't wind up including it in episode 14.
It really depends on how long it takes them to deal with the plots of the fencing match, the new king If there is one in this version, and the future government of Emmaly.
Ramil/Paytai and Calvin/Jay show up for the wedding ceremony but since their relationship was quite a bit different in the book there really wasn't much to resolve.
I don't know what they're going to do any more than the next person. But I don't see how they're going to deal with all of that above, Khanin moving to London, Charan eventually joining him, proposing, getting married, and convincing Khanin to move back to Emmaly. Seems like a lot for 30 minutes of an episode.
That is another display of the irrationality of the bandwagons of unabashed hate and unabashed adulation.I love…
Loads of money compared to what? If they had loads of money there wouldn't be annoying advertisements in the first half of the series to its detriment.
And what is the budget? Aof said it was approaching nine figures, so more or less 100 million baht, or a little more than $3 million USD.
A series with fancy outfits and locations like that $3 million USD would just about cover the cost of one episode and maybe the cost of the series stars in a US series.
It's been forever since the series Friends was on the air. I never watched it but each one of the six leads got one million dollars per episode and that was quite a long time ago.
We're to the point that Zee and NuNew have an international fandom and it's about time they learn to speak English and reap the dollars that they could get working elsewhere.
So maybe this BL had a bigger budget than some others but it's hardly anything to write home about.
BTS for episode 13 should be coming out Thursday on IQIYI although they've been annoyingly late on English translations. The YouTube version, which is abbreviated from what is shown on IQIYI, it's usually a third to a half of the length, will appear on Friday.
There haven't been any reaction videos in a while and the last one was really bad. Contractually they apparently have to blur out a significant part of what they're reacting to which makes it very difficult to make any sense out of them.
Each show have it own separate budget or they wouldn’t be able to film both shows around the same time. I think…
If they follow the book they won't need any of that. They got married in London and then eventually move back to Emmaly where Charan built them house. He was going to be an art professor and Khanin was going to teach fencing.
In the book there was no longer a king of Emmaly, so there was no longer any of that pomp.
PS The clothes are already paid for but I doubt they will be wearing them if all they are doing in a special episode are the four special chapters.
Exactly! It’s wild that people have to issue disclaimers just to avoid getting chewed out by overzealous fans.…
That isn't the reason. I absolutely adore, am in love with, any well thought out criticism. I've seen very few of those here. It's mostly I hate it, I'm bored, someone should do bad things to Aof and DMD.
So… people can’t have opinions now? If the show’s messy, of course the comments will reflect that. It’s…
The point isn't opinions. But if you have one make it specific to something that's going on. Most of the opinions here remind me of poo in my toilet.
It's there, it needs flushing, and other than keeping me from dying from an obstruction it has no other value.
TNP by far isn't perfect but it's still enjoyable at least it is to me. And when there have been things that I thought were silly I've said so.
I've also read most of the book by now. I read the second book first and right now I'm about halfway through the first one.
My guess is the reason they changed some aspects of the book is that it was pretty dark and maybe they thought Zee and NuNew needed a brighter plot.
Also there was almost no reason to get anything but guest actors for the roles of Ramil/Paytai and Calvin/Jay if they kept the plot of the book intact. So people who were bitching about those characters not having more screen time would really be bitching if the original book was adhered to more strictly.
I'm going to need to finish book one and reread book two, plus rewatch the entire series before I'll have a more cogent opinion.
Domundi is making big bucks on this series. It's not perfect, but it's watchable if you are a ZNN fan of which…
But it's not garbage. And a lot of the people watching it aren't Zeenunew fans
When I watched Cutie Pie a few years ago I had no idea who Zee and NuNew even were and I kept watching the series because NuNew's voice hooked me and I liked their chemistry. I thought it was very cute.
I watched TNP because I think it's a better constructed drama, not perfect, but more engaging than Cutie Pie. I spent a lot of time fast forwarding over the scenes with Kuea and his friends in the garage in Cutie Pie but in TNP I haven't fast forwarded at all.
My suggestion to anyone who doesn't like it is that they shouldn't watch it.
Life won't end. Zee and NuNew will continue to be popular and make tons of money for both DMD and themselves in their BL careers, music careers, and business ventures.
There's a difference between Academy Award-winning movies and Asian BL and I appreciate both of them for what they are.
Please don't make any special episodes because it is unbearable, instead use that money for khemjira. That series…
It's looking like there will be at least one special since I don't think they have enough time to include the special chapters in the final episode, but we'll have to see.
Domundi has at least a half dozen pilots out and I'm sure they have separate budgets for them.
OK, interesting developement, but please, is there in comment section at least SOMEONE who is left and don't complain…
People who are actually enjoying the series usually respond the day of and the day after and then the toilet bowl people come in. If I have a housekeeper at home the last thing I want to do is flush other people's poo.
Like any BL I've ever seen it's not perfect but it has a lot going for it and I think it's a whole lot better written than Cutie Pie which I also enjoyed and revisit every once in awhile for another watch.
If Khanin wins the fencing match his father becomes king. Those were always the rules of the contest. The children compete and the father of the one who wins becomes the next king.
That doesn't change whether Khanin stays in Emmaly or goes back to England.
The final episode hasn't aired yet so we don't know what's going to happen in the series. I suspect that Khanin will win the fencing match, especially given that Paytai has just left Ramil who was his only emotional support. Plus at the end of episode 13 his fencing training was going horribly, I assume due to his break up with Paytai.
There is no parallel to the book. In the book the sabotage happened during the fencing match so there was no winner.
When did people get so angry at this show? It seems sudden to me, yet some are saying after episode 7. What happened…
I'm pretty sure that Khanin is not going to lose or forfeit, but I'm also pretty sure the outcome is not going to be the same as the book since the sabotage happened during the fencing match not this series made archery match. And the match was never finished because of that.
In the novel the king actually ordered Charan's mother's murder. This series is toning down his crimes. He also…
That's why they changed things from the book. I have enough trouble with the king having a redemption plot in the series but it would have been completely untenable if they followed the book.
Both Wasin and the King were much worse human beings in the book than they were in the series.
Wasin had way more reason to hate the king in the book but he also had been poisoning him for years with the bird's nest soup mentioned in the series. The king did not have cancer in the book.
It also brings another layer to Wasin offering Khanin some of the soup which would have made sense in the book but did not in the series.
Look, I understand everyone's criticisms but I was thoroughly entertained the whole time and I also love CharlieBabe/PoohPavel…
I enjoyed the series except for the last episode. They went for camp instead of giving our heroes the send off they deserved. All they needed to do was make the final episode 30 minutes longer.

That's all I ask of other people.
