It’s 90% likely it was a future premonition like how Im Sol was able to gain temporary future visions during her third rewind to be able to tell the direction and locations of the killer's movements and she moved accordingly. So when they kissed I guess she shared her vision to Sunjae or thanks to him being a similar existence like Im Sol they both had it naturally haha~.

WHAT IF WHAT IF, Sun-jae could time travel back too because in this time line he is only unconscious and not DEAD, so there’s the off chance that miracle could happen too, cuz all other timelines he was dead which could prevent him from being rewinded but we'll see 🫢

That’s not completely farfetched and I agree this “could” happen if the screenwriter wants to make an acknowledgement nod to the original material where the protagonist used some old — antique looking pocket watch that helped her time travel instead of Sun-Jae’s stopwatch.

I'm glad to first find him through his works Record of Youth and 20th Century Girl, but unfortunately he wasn't very prominent in Record of Youth and in 20th Century Girl it was a very tragic / sad drama and it was in movie format too so not enough content to intake

I lowkey hope on the final rewind, he holds some memories to some degree on the > off chance < it's whoever holds the magic watch gains the ability to remember the memories they hold instead of starting in a blank state.
