I agree! I liked it, but I definitely liked Alice in Borderland better. I did not get hooked until the last 3 episodes.

I agree! I personally like their acting and chemistry! The story is really moving forward well episode 27 and onwards, and I like the development of the leads' relationship a lot! The writing is not the best, and the iffy writing is possibly a factor that people think that Zhao Liying's acting is bad. It's really not! I've seen 4 of her other works before Legend of Fei and she's definitely talented as an actress. Wang Yi Bo is also good, and I like that he went from a quiet and aloof character like Lan Wanji in The Untamed to the goofy, playful, and flirtatious Xie Yun in here. The awkward writing does not do justice for the actors in my opinion. They're just working with what they have!

I second Todome no Kiss and Liar Game! Both are my top tier favorite Japanese dramas of all time!

I was also shocked to see that this has higher ratings than Alice in Borderland! I've already caught up in the 6 episodes, but I personally would give Alice a higher rating lol

Episode 25 and onwards gets better!

Love the ML and FL's relationship development from episode 27 and onwards!! Thoroughly enjoying this drama now!

I would also add Kim Seon Ho onto this list! His populairty skyrocketed like crazy after Start Up!

Coming back to this drama after seeing Kento Yamazaki blow up even more in Alice in Borderland! Always loved his acting in this drama as well!

I agree! The makeup is done really poorly. Her more natural makeup is a lot better! I wish that they just changed her makeup style to more natural. She's so beautiful already! I personally like her chemistry with Wang Yibo in the drama as well!

Zhao Liying is definitely a talented actress in my opinion after seeing 4 of her other works! This drama may not show her full potential as an actress due to the writing, but she is definitely capable!

Also, the age gap between her and WYB doesn’t really bother me at all like it does for a lot of people here it seems. I’ve seen plenty of dramas where the age gap is even more than just 10 years apart between the leads so I have no problem with this. The chemistry between them is good for me, so that’s all that matters!

Everyone has different tastes, but I personally love the leads’ interactions!

It's not for everyone, so just try it and see if you'll like it! :) This is just my personal opinion :D
