Ya'll it has been 3-4 weeks since I've finished this drama, and I am STILL obsessed. I keep coming back to MDL to check on the comments/ratings XD Literally read the novel, watched the donghua, reading the manwha, and listening to the audio drama after rewatching this live action 3-4 times already. The addiction is REAL! I'm in love with Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. They have completely immersed me into their story <3 Honestly one of the best couples I have come across <3

There are some changes here in there, but overall, I love this live action as well! Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are literally perfect as Wei WuXian and Lan Wanji! Their chemistry is off the charts! I actually saw the live action drama first before reading the novel or anything else, and I honestly really love it! This drama was great, especially with the censorship laws that they had to tiptoe around!
Very excited for this! Zhao Li Ying has been one of my favorite Chinese actresses of all time! She's legendary <3 Just finished watch The Untamed with Wang Yibo and few weeks ago, and I'm still obsessed with him and Xiao Zhan! I started the anime version recently as well! LOVED it (of course)! Wei Ying's comeback in the anime version (where he killed the Wen Clan people) was so much better in the anime! He was a lot more powerful! It was definitely satisfying <3
This is honestly the best drama I have ever seen, and I've watched MANY over the years! I still haven't completely moved on, and it's been about 3 weeks since I've watched this. The story is just so beautiful, and I cannot help but fall for the relationship between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan! The live adaptation got me into the story first, but then I ended up reading the novel, listening to the audio drama, watching the donghua!I can not get enough of Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. Their love is so beautiful, out of this world. This story teaches so many life lessons, and it also shows that there are still good, pure, and genuine people out there. I cannot emphasize how deeply it touches me to see Lan Zhan do so many things for Wei Ying silently and unconditionally. So happy I picked up this gem. I've heard about Mo Dao Zu Shi for a long time, but was never interested in reading the novel or seeing the donghua, but the leads in the live action are gorgeous and everyone kept talking about this live action, so I decided to pick it up. Best decision ever made. So happy I was able to go on this wonderful journey with everyone else!
Decided to give this a try only because of Xu Kai and Bai Lu due to my love for them from "The Lengends," but I do not regret this one bit! This drama is amazing!
