Well, it’s not Xiao Zhan fans being toxic towards the female lead. It’s fans of other people for some reason. Xfx are telling others to be respectful and not insult her looks and we’re being called toxic for our trouble. Anyway, I’m just gonna focus on the plot from now on. And ignore those rude people.
Some people here are getting so annoying. Critique the drama however you want but stop insulting the fl's looks. That's not constructive criticism. That's y'all being bullies. Admins, I hope you start deleting those type of comments.
I'm glad the script writer made Shi Ying's kindness and morals the reason why he didn't kill Zhu Yan when he found out she was his calamity. In the novel it was completely romance focused which I find too immature for my liking. It's a nice change to the story.
Also, his master is giving Professor Snape vibes. I don't think he's bad but his method of pure revenge is not good. He wanted Shi Ying to go insane with rage. That was against his mother's wishes and against his nature. He's noble and kind and I'm glad Chong Ming and Zhu Yan were there to help him.
Also, I wonder when she'll find out he's the Crown Prince. Oh the angst THAT will bring!

I really don't get the critique of Ren Min. I think she's doing a great job as Zhu Yan. She's still a teenager. She's acting like a teenager. I think some of the critiques I'm seeing are really unnecessary. Also critiquing her looks to such a vicious extent? Please get over yourselves. Let's focus on the plot more please.
Tencent doing absolutely nothing to promote the drama. So glad the word of mouth is so good that it's breaking records even with useless Tencent. Like I get it. It's Xiao Zhan and his name alone brings views and they'd rather save money to promote other dramas that need it. But it's still frustrating. Anyway, I expect it to break heat index 30000 soon.
That fight scene Shi Ying had was sooo good. Xiao Zhan did all those stunts himself. His physicality is incredible. He looked so HOT. I know this is a little off topic but seeing him like that reminded me of LOCH. I can't wait to see what he brings for The Legend of the Condor Heroes as Guo Jing. I heard Tsui Hark is having him do all the stunts with no doubles that's why he trained so long. We're in for a feast!
