Is it that bad? Why is the rating so low? Ehhhh. I wanted to watch it....
It's getting up in only few hours. I think because not so many ppl watch it yet. And only on iQiyi , YouTube ( some region) and dramacool. If u like Bromance drama..u should watch it. It's really g ood.
Sad..I just completed the drama... I feel it's too short while the adventure feel like just starting. I really wish they make the Season 2, 3,4 ...etc.
I am happy that i am kinda ignore some of the negative comments here and keep giving a try for few episodes..then I can't stop myself.
If you really like bromance, BL, or shounen ai, you will like this. The only sad thing is the girls all die >.< So cruel heh...but I don't sad though..Since episodes 8 I already think, if Long Yao with that girl from the Centurion and Shi Jing Yao with The bandit leader, it would be messed up..the only thing to make Long Yao and Jing Yao together, the girls must be gone for good. Well..at last Chen Xing Yi called him brother instead..i think she understand that he will never love her in romantic way.
I really happy with the ending although it's giving me hope for Season 2. You see how both men protect each others with their life. It's so different when they protect the girls. They never do the same to them. I can see when The emperor visited Jing Yao house to meet his mom. Usually the mom will greet and prostate to the emperor..but this time the emperor is the one who greet his mom instead...I "translate" it as He is like asking his mom to "marry" Jing Yao or at least to be with him. And how Jing yao winks to emperor..and the they wink each other in the end too.... Another funny thing when Jing Yao visited emperor in teh palace..and emperor asked him if he wanted to live there too..he said yes..then the emperor look at his "part" and said: Yeah..but that thing ...you have to leave outside .. haahhaha...and Jing yao said NO THANKS directly..
I love the story and the drama.. ..action and some humor..I love the secret identity of the emperor...I love all of in this drama.
Seriously! You can read the negative views, but you still have to try to watch by yourself. U won't get bored. The bromance feeling in the last episode is really strong. The time I wrote my previous comment, the rate was only 6,8 and now 7,2. i wish it will get higher since ppl start watching it after they finished the sub.
So Once again..please...make Season2 ..and please longer time per episode and more episode ( 24 or 30 or more) ..and I hope the palace will look like a real palace like in Legend of YunXi or other politic drama with that long famous alley way...
EPISODE 6: I am on episode 6 now..so far I like it alot. Maybe the Ml are not as pretty and handsome like others idol drama..But they are not bad too. I like the story..and I like the hidden identity dthat long Yao carries. The best is..no annoying spoil little girl who keep pesting the ML and think he would marry her ...and no bitchy female or mom in law.. I like the Ml can fight well . I don't care about the humor and other..I really love it..I'd rather watching this than Renascene or Legend of Two sisters in chaos.
I am watching episode 6 now..and so far I like it. Idk why it got under rate. The only minus maybe because it's not idol drama.. the ML are not so pretty..but I think they are not bad too. I love the hidden identity of Long Yao...I like he is good in fighting too... I will continue watch--I really love the story.
The drama is good..but thing that make me mad is Fu Rong has no trust to Xu Jin. I wish if she trust him and not easy to be swayed by one word by others. I actually like Prince An. He is actually good man..but because of revenge and he wants to get Fu Rong, he is using any way he can to get his goal. Although he is bad,..but I wish he doesn't need to die... But i like in Legend of YunXi..there are more romance and more skinship there..in here the kiss not even look real.
I like him in I've Fallen For you and The blooms in Ruyi Pavilion. Hel looks nice with long hair.. and I am glad he doesn't put up all his hair like Zheng Ze Han ( Prince Shu in Ruyi Pavilion). He keeps his long hair down. Though I don't really like his character there who is actually he was a good man but become schemer and bad because he wants a revenge and steal Fu Rong. Though his character bad, I wish he doesn't need to die though in the end. I wish in the coming drama, he will be good protagonist ML. I want him to play more in Historical drama like Ruyi, I've Fallen For you, Chang an youth, or xianxia...
ROFL..in Episode 10, she is watching the shadow puppet and it's about Legend of YunXi XDD
BTW. I heard they cut alot scenes in this drama.. i think they cut the part when she is dreaming..as in the synopsis says she can predict the future from the dream..and I don't see her dreaming so often..but in some scenes they are wonder why she knows about what would happen of how she know that Shu doesn't eat garlic etc...
1st episode...they show abit of his body when he is taking a bath..but kind a cut cos suddenly wear the clothes,.,..they don't show his bumps like in Legend of YunXi T.T
Update episode 3: Just wanna say that I just notice..this time they don't put too much white powder on their face so they don't look wearing white mudmask. I like to see Zheng Ze han look abit warm so he looks more healthy ans also Ju Jing Yi doesn't look so white. ..the make up is more natural here than in Legend of YunXi.
Why they always choose a female that look too old and sometimes look too young to be paired with the ML. Seriously..why can't they choose the right one like some good drama. If it's not the story about age gap romance, then they should find a proper age actresses or actors to play the characters.
I agree, she is extremely young to play this part. It's like seeing my daughter in the role with a ML 10 years…
