I get your point, but Ji Chang Wook can only give us so many dramas in his career, and as a fan I’d rather see him paired with some of the most beloved leading actresses. Pyo Ye Jin may be a good actress, but she’s mostly known for supporting roles, and after seeing her in those for so long, it’s hard for me to picture her as the leading lady next to my favorite male actor.

Ps. Aren’t we already going to see them together in The Manipulated this year anyway?

They could have done a better job.... Are all his fight scenes like this?

When I asked others they said Cheng Lei's action scenes are good. But what's with this supernatural power he's just waving his hands and punching the ground and the enemy is dealt with (cringe and Ineffectual). It would have been so much better if they didn't add the supernatural element to the story and kept the action scenes more grounded reliant on an the actors physical prowess.

Why is the Ml physically weak after absorbing the power in the initial episodes and when does he regain his martial prowess?

Thanks for the insight. I completely agree with you about the camera work and the abrupt cuts (currently I have only watched the 1st episode). In my opinion, the best fight scenes out of all the C-dramas I’ve watched so far are from A Journey to Love. Liu Shishi is absolutely phenomenal in the series—Liu Yuning as well, but especially her.
