The writer and director decided to follow the novel opening dream Manman had of Afan killing herself as Wei Shao unhappy bride and how Bi zhi was coming to mourn her where Wei Shao buried her outside the family ancestral tomb. Bi zhi became alone and Xiaotao too😭😭. The Main couple is safe so am happy. LY and Yuluo deserved their Ending too
