have you watched "the glory" ? some of soo min's facial expressures are so alike with the main b***h. i am a bit in awe of such acting but really hope those actresses will get some "good but tough girl" roles in the future if they dont want to be hated at first sight. also, such roles on a long term (same as in an e.g. thearte on long term can make you destructuve with all the hate the role gets).

and re-watched again. I can’t get tired of “tan tai Jin “ and “ye xi wu”. absolutely not going tired of just that name being spoken by our FL. torture - but the best.

ah, true, thank you! So I guess his brother wanted to keep his one girl friend when he had the discussion with him for the sake of getting along with her and being friends. makes sense, thinking about the scenes you mentioned. Thanks again! :-)

yes, I was crying most of ep 15 and 16 but:
why did his dad suddenly seemed like he heard the comments of his former band in ep 16?
Was (I don’t want to mix up names) the girl who traveled back not the girlfriend of ML brother in 2023? and ML tried to break them up for the sake of studying? what now?
and if her future changed, then where was she until she came back at the exact day of that concert? overall I really enjoyed this drama and dragged it on myself to finish because I didn’t wanted it to be finished ;-)

I haven’t watched much but I surely agree that we are having massive 2nd ML Syndrom so far.(don’t know if he gets around trying to kill her in the end). also agree: mom and grandmom have way too much screen time. ML is just there as a pet or something. again, I agree: FL behavior of a 13 year old. as someone stated already: it doesn’t matter where you grew up (ok- leave war parts in war and complete poverty out), you shouldn’t behave like a child and this is what is happening here but also gives the whole show at least a very little bit of charm. whoever saw strong women dong will immediately downgrade this show. me included. but I am trying to see it completely unrelated. so far: behaviors =cringe songs = cringe couple feeling= cringedevelopment of all characters=cringerealness = not given (I know it’s fantasy but could you please protect yourselves at least once?!)storyline = actually Interesting for meacting=good I think. they all do what they need to do. really don’t know why I am watching this when I am bored instead of searching for stuff I would like more but hey! that’s the beauty here. we can find so many dramas we actually like by searching on tags etc.

episode 7. how did they cloth mom and grandmom in pink and made mom later on wear lime green to match red hair? though, the hair colour seemed a lot darker than before. and yes, that was my take of that episode ^^ red hair with mismatching cloth colors.

I agree! what a surprise! I am really blown away on how good these 5 first episodes have been. I will try to squeeze in the next episode in my lunch break ^^

i have just finished episode 5 and so far: this is the best c-drama, matured - no college / school stuff, history or Fantasy- I have seen in 2023!!! comments below are positive so I will continue watching this. no romance,yet but really liking the acting and OST.

glad I saw that review and the comments. „rising with the wind“ is indeed so much more interesting after watching „only for love“ for 8 episodes . I am
quite frustrated because I absolutely adore Bai Lu and it feels that her normal acting was put behind bars and never to be released again (in those 8 eps.). thank u all! but also, because of this review I started watching „only for love“ - I thought to myself „naaaah, can’t be bad“. well … ;-)

i was so excited about this drama. I absolutely adore our FL. and then I watched 8 episodes on ff…. everything takes at least 10 more seconds than it should have. really, every action - let it be drinking, looking at the phone, polishing eyeglasses … everything. maybe the director wanted all to be more esthetic but for me this became really boring.
sad to say that I will drop this now and only watch as a filler.

i liked this one. the most none toxic, Mutual and healthy relationship which I was seeing within years!

unlimalety I wasn’t going to watch because I only completed one drama with the ML and found him
very stiff and unnatural. but in this drama it’s like a complete other person. I really loved his „hmm?“ , „yes“, and „silent laughters.

The FL is great as well! if you get past her forced „I am doing everything for the client“ first episodes then you will really like her.

Insaw comments which were outrages with the evil SFL but honestly - this is absolutely nothing on what writers did come up in other dramas.

The ex from FL had no purpose at all. I don’t really understand why he was there in the first place. he appeared - tried to seduce/get back with FL, got caught and then disappeared. all within 2 or 3 episodes. (Not telling you what he tried or how to avoid spoilers).

second couple was hot! I really like the actress! kudos!!!!!

a pitty is to not know if the third couple ever got back together :-/

Also, ML mom who was present a lot was nowhere to be seen in the last moments.

all in all, I would recommend it to watch if you want a light, fluffy, mature and healthy couple drama. btw. their kisses are hot 🔥;-)

well, I don’t think it was the actors deciding this.
Thinking positively- maybe this is also a good thing to keeping watchers on their toes.
ultimately- no one’s fault but the channel itself because they have to air that sport shows. *BUT* to decide once a week is a bad move already.
so, the schedule is actually once a week (if we haven’t being interrupted with sports).

Please feel absolutely free to watch it in January. I wanted to do that myself but stupidly watched 1st,2nd,3rd and now 4th episode and I really want to stop watching it before it is finished , so now I am addicted 😭
