Does this drama have any depth or it's more like a cute little story? I've only seen the first episode.
I think its brilliant. Foremost it is a romance. Cute and romantic on the surface. But it also deals with love, loss, sacrifice, and learning to see things from a different perspective.
I just had a thought about the evil god Tai Sui.. We know he has an influence over RH. RH who conveniently for Tai Sui, slaughtered the entirety of the Xilan tribe. Except for the Godess.
Had she died, then according to the Emperor, Tai Sue would have broken free from his prison.
And now, yet again, Chidis ressurection is connected to the killing of the Godess of Xilan. Namely Orchid. Which should then in turn free Tai Sue.
I am thinking he manipulated this from the very start.
The only thing I dont understand is why he meddles with DFQC. Perhaps he wants a powerful vessel to possess or something 🤔
My fave is 18. That episode did a lot to explain DFQC, and also the decision involving wanting to open up and…
I think its also the reason they both fall in love with her. They are both protectors, weapons. And here is this little powerless (in a way) fairy telling them they matter to. That she will protect them even if it means just helping them run away. She gives all she has got, even when its little. She is truly brave.
I don't really like it when a drama as good as this gets a 2nd series. I'd far rather it ends with a satisfying…
Agreed. A 2nd season hardly ever lives up to its predecessor. Best to finish this well and make something new. And I say that even though I love this show so much.
I think at this point she didn't care anymore who she was, all her life she was left alone until DFQC showed up…
Agreed. I actually really liked that part. She isn't defined by the past. What matters to her is the living, the Moon tribe, her husband to be. Not the long lost. She looks forward not behind. If only the tribes could do that as well, there would finally be peace.
By the way I hear netflix does good subtitles. Does anyone know how they compare to Viki?
But Tai Sue certainly has no interest in helping to save Orchid that's for sure. I hope DFQC is wise enough to see that.
