I don't think I'm being too sensitive though. I just don't enjoy storylines where the female/male bottom is constantly bullied and dragged through the mud by everyone, including the person who's supposed to love them. Then, right at the end, the male lead says "sorry," and suddenly everything is forgiven and forgotten. That kind of story doesn't feel satisfying to me.
