In case y'all wondering why everyone is more interested in the second couple it's because many of us can relate to GaoTu. He's also the underdog so almost everyone is rooting for him. Come to think of it, marking someone sounds like much more of a commitment than marriage! I wonder what happens if your marked partner turns out to be an a*hole π€
There's manipulation, lies, facade, fake personalities and then there's Hua Yong! Everything is basically fake from his words to his tears to his facial expressions. Even his eyes shift completely to docile the moment he's in the vicinity of ShaoYou or anyone related to his world. We're not really watching a romance here, We're watching an innocent man falling in love with an illusion! I feel like I'm watching him descend to his end with Hua Yong! Did he actually pass out or is he faking that too in order to get the attention π. But what is Hua Yong hoping to achieve at the end? And how well did he craft his performance to the point that ShaoYou never doubted him for even a split second? The pain in his eyes while he was inspecting Hua's "injuries" really got to me π God daym!
I know that one episode a week is simply not enough but I think at this stage we're very lucky to be able to watch this series at all given how badly it's being sabotaged by the Chinese government and taken off multiple streaming platforms
Because the previous one was terrible, everybody was criticising the scene!
well I admit they looked like they're trying to hit each other without messing up each other's hair π€ Nevertheless, I still wanted to see WenLang getting a few well deserved punches π
Not GaoTu tearing off his resignation letter shattering my heart with every rip of that paper! π’ Come on GaoTu! it's like he's looking for an excuse not to resign.. Just do it π« Hua Yong hands down is the master of manipulation in TV history not just in BL! the level of acting is so diabolical. No one is that good. for a minute there I forgot it was a facade and nearly cried while ShaoYou was treating his "injuries" and then I screamed at the screen: he did this to himself!
I totally get what youβre saying, and I respect that perspective, but I feel a bit differently because of the…
shows like the handmaid's tale and 13 reasons why tell stories about sexual assault. They don't glorify or romanticise it! why would anyone be calling out those show?! And calling them out on what exactly?
I actually think that makes the writing realistic. No one is confident 100% of the time. Right now CC is dealing…
That's why I asked what's the priority! Wei's mother has terminal cancer and he's completely oblivious to that. he's wasting precious time he could be spending with his mum on her final days. Instead he's heart broken over Chi telling lies and hiding where his whereabouts. Anyone would think he's cheating π’.
LOL I wouldn't doubt that if the show has another season, Tony returns back from the dead AGAIN or a secret twinThis…
Let's just hope there won't be another season. They butchered the second one and ruined Pit Babe's universe for me forever with that terrible writing π
I totally get what youβre saying, and I respect that perspective, but I feel a bit differently because of the…
GIRL! Tuo literally dragged JunXi into a bathroom stall, pinned him to a wall, shoved his hand into his pants and started fondling him without his consent! in what universe is that romantic?! you don't need me to define "romanticise" for you because that scene is called sexual harassment. Who said I was "accepting" the scenes from secret relationships?! those scenes weren't added to the story for people to "accept"! Those were scenes of violant and disturbing nature they were done to expose the true nature of both characters "abusers". DaOn wasn't interested in neither SuHyeon nor JaeMin after they both attacked him and tried to force themselves on him on separate occasions! It is not ok for anyone to forcibly grope the other person under the guise of "having feelings" for them!? whether both characters end up together or not is irrelevant when the approach is wrong. In TharnType, Tharn literally fondled Type while he was passed out drunk! that's also sexual assault! NOT OKAY In Semantic Error JaeYoung explicitly told SangWoo "I'm going to kiss you in 1 minute if you want to run away do it now" To which SangWoo responded by grabbing his face and kissing him immediately, he didn't want to wait 1 minute! Both boys consented to the kiss. Very beautiful and shouldn't be compared to what happened in TharnType. I do not have double standards when it comes to forced intimacy. I immediately call out problematic sexual behaviour when I see it on screen. Also, I'm an adult I can tell the difference between seducing someone into a kiss they didn't expect and forcing them into it.
