btw can anyone tell me what kind of a psychiatrist would cosplay as his patient's lover for the night?! Not only that, but he sees there's an innocent man locked up against his will but he never reports it to authorities! 😦
Are those writers for real?! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Meh πŸ˜’.. if it wasn't for the second couple I highly doubt I would've continued watching. The story of Qui and YoEn was ripped off from Jinx the manhwa, the characters lacked depth, the entire show YoEn was a cry baby which doesn't line up with the fact that he's this big brother who took on the responsibility of looking after his ill younger brother after both parents had passed away. Qui treated YoEn like a punching bag most of the time which was over the top sometimes. I didn't like the idea that YoEn was being a doormat and then all of the sudden he decided "I have dignity". The show got boring at times and kept dragging but if it wasn't for the firing chemistry of the second couple, the show would've been an absolute snooze fest unfortunately.
It takes more that just pretty faces to make a good series.

I'm so sorry to hear that! there should've been a major trigger warning before the series but I guess no one cares…
I'm πŸ’― with you. I can't believe people take those matters so lightly and keep throwing terms they don't understand left and right! it's the responsibility of the writer to educate themselves about a serious illness before they decide to include it in their stories. Nothing can justify Lu Feng's actions in my opinion

the portrayal of BPD is so wrong it hurts my feelings as someone who suffers from it
I'm so sorry to hear that! there should've been a major trigger warning before the series but I guess no one cares enough! Mental health disorders are ALWAYS misrepresented in dramas. I had to roll my eyes after watching the last episode and I absolutely agree with you.

Something still irks me though πŸ€” Lu Feng was showing mostly symptoms of schizophrenia rather than bipolar disorder.

All he ever did was choose himself over everyone
This is so confusing! What's your point exactly?! Lu Feng puts himself first before anyone else. it's always about what he wants. He wanted to have sex, Yi Chen wasn't ready, he didn't care he took what he wanted then apologised afterwards. He wanted to be with Yi Chen in public, Yi Chen's mother won't accept it, did he leave when the woman was collapsing? NO! he kept harassing her until she died. Everyone was telling him to leave, but he won't, he'll fight everyone until he gets what he wanted. And when Yi Chen escapes and hides he finds him, brings him back and locks him up in a torture chamber to punish him. BTW in case you don't know r@pe isn't about sex, it's about dominance and power. All he wanted was to prove that he has that much power over Yi Chen. how dare he break his promise and run away?! As if that's not enough, he lies to Yi Chen telling him his brother and Qi Lang are abroad just to keep them apart. This technique is so dirty and often used by abusive partners, keep Yi Chen all alone so he would have to go back to Lu Feng eventually. He's still trying to isolate him but the plan didn't work. I wonder what he'll do next

Lu Feng didn't imprison Yi Chen, r@pe and torture him out of love! He did this for revenge. he did this to punish him for leaving him and marrying someone else. If he was hanging on to the love they once had he wouldn't have done him so wrong. If he was only after his body, there were other ways to get him into bed rather than brutally r@ping him! No matter how you look at it, Lu Feng had always put himself first. The guy is a monster!

is this worth it.. the acting isnt very convincing but i only saw a small clip so i may be wrong
I'll say save yourself the trauma! the series is filled with themes of SA and torture and there was no trigger warning beforehand

All he ever did was choose himself over everyone
which is exactly what I'm saying he locked up Yi Chen because he chose what he wanted, not what's right! Also saying his approach was "different" is sugar coating his horrifying acts

Cheng Yichen deserves a happy ending, but Lu Feng deserves severe punishment. He is an extremely toxic person.
