The band-aid was a significant memory for XY, if not for the band-aid I don't think she would ever fall for SHM. I think it was explained better in the novel but instead of the band-aid, it was the bed. They share a bed in the novel , growing up - XY had always wanted a solo bed ’coz it would represent that she was an only child. XY was never jealous or she never aspired to be one of those society ladies but rather she wanted to be QL because QL was wanted and loved by her parents. She had a love/hate type of feelings towards QL.

lol, to be fair - they are acting as a loving couple which I think both of them have no idea what a loving couple looks hence the ridiculous over the top expression of what a loving couple is.

It is known to happen esp. in asian families. Usually when the child finds out they are of age and most are into adulthood.

I feel like if not for that pesky Band-aid, XY would not have risk lying to SHM, she felt the warmth first hence she did everything to be with SHM including creating an elaborate lie.

It is more on the POV of Xuyan, we all saw her struggles and none of SHM hence we are a bit biased. But for HaoChen and MIL, I would want XY to get back together with SHM, I mean - we've all seen a fair share of d*bag husband in dramas but it usually never comes with a great MIL and stepson. 😂

The novel is very different from the drama. It focuses more on the relationship between qiao lin and xu yan.

Saw a post on X, about Haoming acting like he is the only CEO in China and that there are 85k++ young CEOs in short Chinese dramas who would gladly be with xuyan.. 😂😂

I have to disagree. In his condition, love might not be what he needs. Sometimes, love can feel like a burden when someone hasn’t learned to love themselves first. If a person is willing to compromise their own self-worth just to hold on to someone, then being loved may only add more weight rather than healing. But then again, I'm over analyzing it. 😂😂

This series is a more polished version compared to En of Love: LM. I've also read the novel before this was released and the behaviour was not just toxic but also criminal.

Yes they finished filming it but I doubt it if the last 3 eps would ever be released. But even if they release ut, I think it would also just end in a cliffhanger
