Ok, so this is not really a BL series, but a slice of life/comimg of age drama. But how realistic is it that every…
Most stories, especially dramas, operate in a multi-genre space. It can definitely be a BL and slice-of-life and coming-of-age. It just puts more focus on the latter two.
Also, I think many a queer youth can testify that we tend to gravitate towards each other without even realizing it. Even before anyone is out of the closet. Much like other minority groups. There's just something there in our interactions and reactions to stuff that clue us in on a subconscious level. I'd went through probably 6 different friend groups in my life so far, and all of them wound up being revealed as all or mostly queer. Sometimes that reveal was shortly after forming, sometimes it was further down the road. My sister's 2 friend groups are the same. And same with several people I've talked to.
Also, Champ might have been bi/pan. Perhaps even acespec. We didn't see enough romantic interest from him to say any one way or another.
Does anyone know, please, is Seng is no longer going to work for IdolFactory if it means he is no longer going…
It depends on their contracts. Plenty of actors have started working on projects outside of their company or as a collaboration between companies (War of Y being an example). Freelancers have a bit more freedom, but it still happens between signed actors as well.
I would have liked to see Em trying it in ep 11-13 and Name being all, "no, you hurt me too much, the love has…
What did Em do so badly? He went off and lived his life in college. He got busy. And when he wasnt busy he was trying to have downtime by his self. And when he realized that Name was too dependent on him, he backed off even further and let his mom take over.
I really do love your review, Thanks so much for this. I just completed it and wanted to see if people actually…
🥰 Thanks! I'm glad you liked my review (and the drama). It did a lot of good things. It just wasn't what a lot people expected and it was quite different than most other queer stories out right now. I for one am happy to see the new genres of queer content. And I enjoy a good life drama as well. But it's not for everyone. So I get why a lot of people disliked it.
The wigs were truly quite bad. I get that they were trying show the passage of time, but they really could have put more effort into them or invested in better ones. And especially in the more recent years, they could have accomplished it with styling - instead of keeping some of them.
I wouldn't say the lack of visits home is lazy scriptwriting though. I know from personal experience that that does happen. Our main characters are relatively poor, so for one thing, they might not have been able to afford to travel back home and back. Some of them also had rocky relationships with their parents, so that would deter their motivation to visit as well. And then there's just general life stuff. Jobs, sports, and various other extracurricular responsibilities may hold you on campus over breaks. Not to mention, I disliked coming back home for the mere fact of going back to a small town where there wasn't anything to do. After getting accustomed to the pace of life in my college town and getting used to going to all these different places, going back to that small town felt suffocating. Me and many of my classmates definitely didnt go home as much as everyone says they're supposed to. And admittedly, some of the occasions where I did return home were because I couldnt stay on campus during that break.
There was a press conference on Dec 24th. This event also opened up ticket-presales. This MOVIE will be released simultaneously in cinemas and internationally on Metaverse (reportedly, the first film to do so).
Word on the street is that this should be getting released Feb 14th, 2023.
sometimes production gives dates and they don't come out at that date, so it might have changed
It seems like December 24th was the press conference and ticket pre-sale. The movie will premier simultaneously in cinemas and internationally on meta-verse.
It was only solidly confirmed in Mar 2022 (pretty sure it was just discussion before then), too soon to say it was cancelled. All of their other planned 2022 titles were delayed as well and have only recently just started moving forward. It's a co-production between 2 companies, so there were probably some complications behind-the-scenes.

I will be writing a review after i finish watching the finale 😊
Ive heard that there hasnt been much luck finding it unofficially anywhere either.

This is apparently part of a larger contest. Which could possibly explain why there was a delay in release. Afterall, this doesn't appear to be one cohesive movie, but rather 4 movies together.
