Anyone can shed some light is it just me or the subs in ep 8 is wrong where the Convo between lu Chen and dad make it sound as though the current father is a stepdad?? Is that why his name change Lu Chen to Luyanchen. If it's the stepdad that is forcing him to married I'll be so angsty who is he to do that

Both ML/FL really compliment and support each other hence the explosive chemistry yes love their gazing eyes. Can't wait for more development btw them

After so long a good modern drama that sticks u thru from beginning ep 1 to 6 the build up is just right every little story fits well I am so loving this!!! Can't wait for more upcoming ep. Tan song yun and Jing boran chemistry wowwwww and his voice omg this role really fits him as a SWAT Captain his body frame and his voice and his rough look is just perfect. The vibe here reminds me off "you are my hero" in terms of their jobscope. Loved seeing mature adult love story

I like how both landi and chenxingxu interview are so comfortable like there is no stern or hostility like how other actor/actress that I've seen. Their interview reminds me of Leo wu and Reba interview for "the long ballad's their laughter and eye contact is so naturally I like it when both co star can be friends after a drama and be natural. I am pretty sure after this drama their fame will be at the peak and I hope there will no fan war! why can't fans just settle with their favs being friends with other co stars

Finally xianxia drama that I could enjoy been waiting for so long my last was LBFAD not here to compare or anything just want to say I am glad starry love was the first opening for 2023 xianxia drama at least in my opinion. As far as I can remember last year towards the end not much of costume drama was release for xianxia genre. This is by far the most complete it has everything humor, sadness, friendship, bondship, strong FL/ML, smart FL/ML/SISTER and many more! I like how there is no cliche plots of excessive villain trope and countless misunderstanding from ML&FL and loved loved the siblings relationship! Kudos to the team this 10/10 for me. Can't wait for other xianxia drama to come out especially love never fails and many more there's upcoming.

At this point I can't seems to forgive the father treatment and attitude to yetan like he mentioned he did all that for the sake of her but I do not see even Abit of affection nor protection was given to her like the least he could do was assigned a private bodyguard to keep her safe or like secretly show care for her I mean the fact that he admitted he believe in the bad omen just goes to show where he stance. I understand his an emperor and a father at the same time but all he did the entire time was show favoritism towards Qungkui. I mean if he really cares for both of his daughter and to show fairness in his affection he should be strict also to qingkui and not only give the best just to qingkui idk man at this point I feel like there is no redemption for the father ill treatment towards yetan at least for me that trust cannot be amend anymore I mean I can be nice and treat him well but not more than that
