Director's statement: We all have our own secrets. Regardless of our age, gender, race or sexual orientation, the communication barriers among us are everywhere. Tingβs confusion reflects the loneliness of ordinary people, especially those who live in big cities. The film does not provide a straightforward answer, but it raises these questions and creates feelings that will invite deep reflection. https://www.chinaindiefilm.org/films/floss/
watching episode 14, right after Yeon rescues the parents and Snake Boy puts them to sleep. first thing out of my mouth: "cut his head off, see if he grows a new one."
it didnt air yet thats why there is no comments about the serie ?
there's a note on their X page: "due to a schedule conflict, the broadcast has been postponed." there's no info as to when it will air. and it sounds like it's going to be a live broadcast too, not sure when it will be available with subs for international viewing.
does the splitting of the serpent remind anyone else of when you cut a worm in half and get two worms? (btw, this doesn't actually work. i lost my beloved pet worm when i accidentally pulled him in half as a kid. i was trying to have him do worm aerobics. I'm still broken up about it, 30some years later.)
that next morning scene in Faifa's bedroom, with the back and forth slapstick, damn near made me laugh to death. π€£π€£ i had to back it up a few times cause it was just too funny not to watch over again. LMAO
still better than being stuck with lightning. also maybe he believes FL would call emergency services immediately…
yeah, that was just sad. π’ it's like when you try to call about a potential suicide and the cops don't take it seriously. i don't know how often that happens nowadays, but when i was younger it did all the time.
