According to the new posters, this series looks like it has had a major cast overhaul, too. Of the featured list here on MDL, only four of those names appear on the posters, which now looks like it will feature 'Haunted Hearts' Mac Alonzo and Larence Brenches as the main couple with Ivan Cojuangco and Ethan Aguilar as the side couple.

I don't really wish to get involved in this argument because IMO it's just going around in circles and achieving nothing, but I do want to clarify the fact that this series has not been banned in the UK and claiming that it has is simply untrue.
Some folk here seem to think that the link to the Crown Prosecution Service added to an earlier post confirms that the show would be illegal in the UK (mainly due to a paragraph about 'simulated sex'). In truth, that is not the case . Just like in Canada, the UK has provisos covering the output of medical , scientific, documentary and educational material, and all of 'the arts'. It is actually the regulator Ofcom that deals with TV media and not the CPS (it would only be referred to the CPS if Ofcom thought a case involved a crime serious enough to merit further investigation, and if so, it would then be up to the CPS to decide whether it was 'in the public interest' to prosecute or not).
For all intents and purposes, anyone aged 16 or older -including actors- are treat as adults, although for those between 16 and 18, there are usually some safeguards built-in as to what they are permitted to do. All of which is tightly regulated and monitored by official 'chaperones'.
Actors aged between 16 to 18 CAN participate in NC scenes within reason, and there are certainly no rules which would forbid a 16 year old actor sharing a scene with a 27 year old actor (even a sex scene ) as long as it is deemed to have either artistic or contextual value; has already been agreed with the actor concerned and does not pose any undue risk of harm to them.
UK dramas and soaps have a long history of not balking away from touchy subjects such as underage sex, schoolgirl pregnancies, coming out stories, sex trafficking, child exploitation, etc, and they do sometimes feature actors under the age of 18. I honestly can't see there being anything in this show that would be of the slightest bit of interest to either Ofcom or the CPS.

The novel is a morality tale about the evils of homophobia and small mindedness, with a central message of how to become a better society by having tolerance, understanding and being accepting of others who are different. Here it's been turned into a cheap revenge on the bullies story with all the authors life lessons about influencing the bullies to lose their prejudice, gutted out of it.
