I finally watched Dew the Movie to the end. It was beautiful but totally heartbreaking. I knew Ohm was one of…
It's most tragic that Dew had to die in accident, hit by a car just as he was on his way to meet Pob when Pob decided to run away after being disowned by his dad for being gay.
There are just so many what ifs that could have happened, including happy life for them if Dew didn't die (Dew's mother already accepted him being gay just before he died made it all more tragic).
Then the second part of the story when Dew was reincarnated as the girl Lew made it all the more tragic for me, because of the new taboos in their relationship. Teacher-student, the age gap and all, and all the things that could have happened if Dew didn't die. And how in the end, Pob and Lew (Dew's reincarnation) chose to end their lives together, I simply don't know what to say anymore.
Good film, good story, but too heartbreaking (:( (I want happiness for both of them, Dew and Pob, sincerely)
I finally watched Dew the Movie to the end. It was beautiful but totally heartbreaking. I knew Ohm was one of the main actors there as Dew - but since I already spoiled myself to how the story went, I don't think I can handle another heartbreak like what I experienced watching Your Name Engraved Herein.
Note: I feel that Dew the Movie has a lot of similarities to Your Name Engraved Herein too.
(Hence I was holding back to watch it until today, for the longest time. Rewatching Bad Buddy, seeing Ohm and Nanon, and Ohm's character having the happy ending he deserves healed those wounds quickly)
For those who haven't watched Dew the Movie yet, I recommend it. More details in spoilers in reply (since I don't want to spoil any of you)
Note: In perspective, I am all the happier that Pat and Pran managed to run away together without anything happening to any of them plus they agreed to run together versus the original novel, and watching Dew the Movie actually made Bad Buddy even more amazing for me.
I have finally committed to pre-order both the Bad Buddy DVD Boxset and ONVerse photobook from GMMTV.
Should be reaching me by late April ):)
(I did order the Your Name Engraved Herein DVD special edition set before and I have gotten the product, and Bad Buddy is the second one I ever ordered anything for. Since Bad Buddy has surpassed YNEH in my heart and mind - though I won't really compare them, it's only right that I buy them too)
Was rewatching EP 10. I am seeing parallels between EP 10 and EP 12 scenes in front of Pat and Pran's homes.
In EP 10, after Pat returned from the hospital, he was talking to Pran (after Pat's dad thanked Pran), teasing him and touching his face (and favourite dimples)
In EP 12, before Pat and Pran returned home (after the noodle shop scene), Pat and Pran were at the same spot. Pat 'crossed over' the line and kissed Pran at his cheek (with a quick peck).
That's relationship (and romance) development for them ):) (Remember, their homes were still pretty much warzone for them from their POVs)

We'll eventually get to 50k! Maybe the first one ever to do so? ):)
