I don't think they have ever made any official announcement but I think they have plans for more seasons since the beginning maybe because the source material is huge and they didn't have enough funds to finish it in one go Also seeing how actively they are participating in lives I am hoping they will not abandon this project midway
Trust me if they had some less famous actors for mls this wouldn't have such high rating, I have noticed this specially in Thai bls the ratings are heavily baised, fandoms will eat up anything with their favs. While this series was airing I kid you not the comment section was like some cult, say one negative thing about the series and the kids would come for you lol its so toxic they can't even take positive criticism
