the novel had a sad ending - so not sure what the writer has planned for the drama .. lol

I must say JC is very patient with PY - any modern girl would have slapped him and handed him over to the authority ... lol

Its kinda derailing from episode 29 onwards - till that point it was doing better I suppose - relatively better characterisation / story / music - u can watch till 29 - ignore or triple speed till latest episode . lol - I guess we all are sticking it thru for ending to see how they wrap this up .. he he

yeah - its the script issue - the writers are just stretching it thin to fill in 40 episodes ... lol - also making FL helpless which is so OOC *facepalm*

the script is wobbling *facepalm* - hope they tighten up for the last leg of the series ... lol

I think his acting shines when with bai lu or li landi compared to dilreba - he really excels in those silent love type roles ... lol

lol ... yeah - I mean the romance can be complicated but atleast keep him alive at the end ;) - I recently watched one and only of RJL :D

the drama is much more palatable then the novel ... lol - but they covering up major plot points from the novel till now

There is no doubt that I am loving and very much enjoying the leads but I also wanna mention one supporting character that I have come to like , cui liang - a golden supporting role who shoulders good values and is not scared to stand for them - he may not be the typical physical fighter but he provides much needed help and support in the form of a brother to our FL.

yeah - very well designed , shot , acted and unique scene I have seen in a very long time in c drama land - that scene just propelled the quality of direction for me :)

No wonder this drama made a good impression on me - the director is one who also directed the very popular guardian and A journey to love - both of my favorites

The brilliantly done flower guessing scene from ep 5 nailed this series for me - I am in all the way thru till the end for this coupling - li landi and ren jialun , very surprising and immensely enjoyable pairing for me which will keep me sustained for this mammoth 40 episode drama :)

I just cdnt get into esther yus acting ...lol - surprisingly I liked zhang binbin here , very grounded in his role - all through the drama I was hoping esther yu would talk like a normal person for once - dropping this

This was my 2nd fav xianxia drama watch this year after Love between Fairy and Devil - Though this is nowhere good as I was hoping it to be as fairy and devil - It took me some time to get into Neo's acting (never seen any of his works previously ) and he was not bad as a Tian Yao - Zou Ye was a familiar actress back from word of honor days though I was expecting more shining acting moments from her but alas it was okay enough - Overall the story started well in the begining , tumbled during the middle and tried to get itself a bit together towards the end - The supporting cast was likeable and I did love Riley wang here - a generous 7.5/10 from me - Only if Neo could level up his acting I would definitely would love give his another drama a chance .

I feel zhang ling ke's acting more grounded considering that he comes from non acting school as compared to zhao jing mai who is supposedly from top acting students in china - I dont know what happened to her here , she feels a bit off - I had liked her in Reset though ....

lol ... more like his character is definitely more interesting then huo le :D

lol - more like a very interesting and complex character plus good looking and good acting by the actor - I think we have seen multiple versions of characters such as huo le but his dads character stood out for me :)

I think I find Huo Le's Dad more handsome than his son .... lol - overall not bad drama specially in short form category :)

a very generous 8/10 from me - I started to watch this series as I like both the lead actors - but the drama dragged on forever - this could have easily been 24-30 episode series - but overall the messaging is very strong - learning from our mistakes , second chances .
