People should not get too hung up on the age and judge the show based on that. In Thailand 15 is already the age of consent. I know in the States it’s kind of hard to comprehend, but it’s different in South East Asia. August and Mac aren’t going to do anything crazy explicit.

I already liked Daou and Offroad from their first series together. But I really fell in love with this pairing from Century of Love. Their chemistry is amazing on and off screen and I will be needing more of them.
There will be a livestream on Netflix Japan YT channel on Aug. 3 with the cast so hopefully we get a confirmation DaiShun are truly together. After getting so invested in their story I would be disappointed if they aren’t, but it’s their privacy. They shouldn’t be pressured to date each other and share anything.
Better or worse than His Man which I found pretty boring?
If The Boyfriend had longer episodes and showed a little more quality time with the cast it would be #1 for me.
His Man 2 still has to be top. JunseongSeungho set the standards pretty high for BL dating shows imo lol. They showed a lot of bonding and quality time in His Man between the cast in a span of a week, compared to how much that was cut in The Boyfriend that was in the span of a month.
I think the cast are gonna go live Aug 3? (correct me if wrong pls) So maybe we’ll see how everyone is doing…
Probably on YouTube. I think I saw comments on Twitter and Reddit before saying they will have a livestream with the cast. But I am not completely sure though.
That was the most interesting and engaging reality dating show, it was great to meet all the guys and learn their…
I think the cast are gonna go live Aug 3? (correct me if wrong pls) So maybe we’ll see how everyone is doing with relationships. We just gotta wait and see if DaiShun post couple stuff together. They both unfollowed everyone on their IG’s and Shun is with an agency so I won’t be surprised if they’ll be a bit discreet about their relationship or if they aren’t really together. I still adored their moments though.
This was 10/10 for me. Sweet, romantic, wholesome moments between the cast. Even if true relationships didn’t happen I just enjoyed seeing them bond with each other because the LGBTQ+ community in Japan and Asia in general is not as big and open as here in the States. I hope for more seasons of this for sure.
Wishing DaiShun happiness and to have a strong, healthy relationship like JunseongSeongho!
I’m gonna cry, I’m gonna miss this. That was a beautiful moment with ShunDai and just seeing them fall for each other. The Boyfriend is the best one I’ve seen yet after His Man 2. The friendship and bonds made along the way also 👏

This so far is cute though!
