Yup her POV regarding him was never really made clear. I do feel he was slightly over martyred in the drama 😅 - I mean we get it he's suffering & the male lead etc but he was much darker in the novel I heard, making it harder for her to trust him - but he was whitewashed in the drama but she was still untrusting as per her character in the novel so some things weren't balanced out. I've not read the novel and no intention but can see where the imbalance would lie. Add in the heavy edits/cuts and her character is just even more unlikeable!

Other characters lost their development in the immortal arc too unfortunately.

We can only go by - her mission was to kill him when the time was right....but she didn't...
