There are some but the overall tone is dark and heavy compared to any other xianxia.

If you want to see more of Bailu's acting would suggest One and Only and Till The End of The Moon - the latter suffers from heavy editing to fit its episode limits so it can be a tad confusing and the plot focuses on the ML POV so a lot more has to be inferred from FL's actions but I feel both really showcase her acting emotive skills.

Covered with a spoiler since it's not much to do with AMA! I hope to watch this next but less motivation as it's a bit long but will get round to it.
