I'm not on Twitter but found this BTS of the drama today gave me such a giggle, glad both leads seem to get on well...that laugh of Bailu's just breaks so many walls - I swear Joseph Zeng was laughing with tears in his eyes and was trying to cover her face to stop laughing even more!
Lol me personally, the age gap doesn't matter to me. They are both adult. She's 25 and not a teenager, so I have…
I've been waiting to see her in another main role I can't wait to watch this - so excited that it finally dropped. She was acting as a 27yo in Back to Seventeen and was really good in that.
Wow I waited for months, disappeared for a bit off MDL and it drops?! Can't wait to see this π₯° although that synopsis reminded me of Cinderella reverse or something!
I agree, I like the simplicity and starkness/contrast of red/white and how it's different from so many other posters (think lots seemed to have jumped on the TTEOTM style).
Oh I still thought it was worth watching - without it I wouldn't have known about them doing TTEOTM. Agree I didn't like the last 6 eps but I also felt their amazing rapport/chemistry amidst the bad plot/storyline and some funny moments when I was just totally cracking up at.
The sheer confusion of people confused if this is a Chinese or Thai drama due to Bie the ML (who is of course bilingual and does both types of dramas) is quite entertaining...they recognise him from Cdrama and think he is dubbed in Thai or that everything is dubbed...
Finished the Cdrama version and enjoyed it, very unsure about this although I like Bie. Anyone care to share some insights - with spoiler tags if needed?
The ending was just pointless which made the whole thing pointless imo....no idea where it was going...I still…
Abysmal. And yet I carried on to the end, carrying a sliver of hope - hoping for some wonderful resolution but nah, nothing and the ending made zero sense so frustrating. Hence I try to save anyone watching this & wasting their time...dunno if it was the acting but felt nothing between the leads too. 2nd ML syndrome at its peak for this one - but not for the FL.
Not read your spoiler as only up to Episode 8 but wanted to say hi!! Loving it so far.
Haha those with good taste flock together! The plan was to watch the Netflix one after this to compare - which one did you watch first?
Am watching this with a friend so it's going a bit slower but I'm also watching A Snail Falls in Love (2016 version- there is a 2023 remake), which also has some mystery+ case solving intertwined, also seems good to me.
Ignore it - had to be done to pass censorship. Or you can interpret it as the modern day them π¬ hope you caught…
I only happened to know this because Bailu's previous 2 dramas One & Only and Forever and Ever were linked by reincarnation but the modern day version had very few, indirect references to it, even though it was clearly the modern day couple. Seems within a drama itself it's even trickier so have heard of lots of similar dramas using novels, dreams etc to get round it.

It's a mini masterpiece! π₯°
Skip the bad, rewatch the good ππ
Oh! The BTS is GOLD. ππ
