See, this is why I worry about the heightened expectations and when the drama actually lands it might fall short. And be worse if the editing is no good. I really hope all boxes are ticked for this.

Well they are being cautious but still seem friendly enough based on recent KR interactions...when the news broke out ZLH lost a few thousand fans last year. I think the show will still be shown but when I don't know...it had a fun summer vibe which will look weird in winter 🤔

Oh so many things can stuff it up...shoddy editing, not seen his acting though can't comment. At least Joseph Zeng I have a few of his dramas lined up to watch & based on clips & feedback he seems good.

In interviews she usually says the reason she selects a role is whether the script interests her, sometimes if she has read the novel it might influence it too (SOKP and OFL). TTEOTM she didn't read the novel as the director said not to as the script is very different.
Sorry just realised maybe you were referring me commenting that BL landed main roles immediately - I went purely by the list of projects on her profile. I watched her first drama (which was already a main role) - and thought she was very good. Same with ZLH his first main role in Maiden Holmes I thought he was very good. Both their first dramas were not that brilliant plotwise lol but they as actors caught my eye!

Lol my eagle eye spotted F&E, JL Overlord and maybe Untouchable Lovers. Yeah just wondered if more antis entered the scene. Anyway MDL ratings are very suspect now which is a shame - have to do more work to find the drama gems!

But actually I feel BL almost started similar as she landed main roles almost immediately when she entered the industry? Maybe not necessarily great dramas but her skills shone through. No doubt due to YZ's help?
