So in the book was there an explanation of his return? I’m confused.
@Prime hp - thanks for that link to the novel. I will read the last 10 and the extra chapters. I just cannot wrap my head around that ending. Maybe this will help,
Bottom line though, is that I am upset at that ending when the rest of the drama was really decent and the way they handled the post death period was done very maturely and with a lot of class - I was impressed - until those last few minutes.
I just finished this and the writing of those last 5 minutes was so lazy. The drama had so many good things going for it that is is almost a sin to end it that way. I may have had a different outlook if I had read the book as I am sure his return would have been explained. But I did not, and I feel that this ending was just dumped on us, almost like a bucket of cold water.
But - there were some really good parts, such as the 2OTP. I would have liked to see more coverage of these two as they were really interesting characters. Best cross dressing ever! The brother's dynamics were very interesting as well.
Jeremy stole the show for me. He is always fantastic and he played his tortured character perfectly! I am so glad to see him back on the screen.
Ep7 now. Capt Bu is the most believable cross-dressing woman I've seen in drama land. Future Cdramas shld take…
@Moonstruck - I actually thought it was a man and almost did not believe it once I found out. Yes, best cross dresser in CDrama, and her mannerisms. language and attitude are spot on. Those two are stealing the show for me.
The comments are a riot. I just ended the drama and I expected cray cray until the end and that is exactly what I got. WTF was that ending? I burst out laughing, All I could think was "Is that the same dog from the drama 'In Your Radiant Season?". At least the dog was adorable.
When you watch this you cannot expect anything to make sense. In fact, it is purposely written to be super makjang, super cringy and full of emotional/relationship whiplash.. Personally, I was strangely addicted to the very end.
If you like 'quirky' this one is for you. If not, run away from this as fast as you can because it will drive you nuts.
This is like watching a train wreck while on hallucinogenic drugs. Yet, somehow, I cannot stop watching this and even just binged 12 episodes in the last 24 hours. This is as crazy a drama as Durian's Way. It's by the same writer and she really has the cray cray down pat. Also - The father is super creepy. I cannot wait for the next episodes to drop just to see what insanity is in store for us.
The Vendetta of An is so good, excellent script and cinematography, super fast pace and full of surprising plot…
@jeniez - Yes, Vendetta is intelligently written. I am really enjoying it. I agree there is a slight resemblance to NIF. I am impressed by the acting - just look at the great cast. It is a solid drama that is well done and up to this point, very well written.
