I actually really like Xiao Zhan character in this story. I watched his other series but maybe I always like a serious and angst char more than bubbly type.. So I think he looks the best here. Although I agree, this is kind of typical Xanxia where ML or FL or both die for the world.. But I still enjoy this drama. I already immune to bitter sweet ending on cdrama.

He just lives on with the flow without care about his well-being or what exactly happen in the world.. finding his senior was his only target and after achieving it.. he no longer care of anything as DFS said.. he is a lost soul..

But FDB existent may change him.. or may not.. but now he has new target which is to cure FDB.. I guess we will see his development...

Anyway his sneaky way asking FDB to bow him as a master is funny.. unfortunately it was unsuccessful.. I'm sure we will get proper master and disciple ceremony later..

LLH will give him technique to get rid of the poison.. then he found out later that his won 10 years ago was invalid since LXY was poisoned.. now he also want to cure LLH/LXY after getting his inner qi back.
