Yeah.. Although i think he never killed the entire clan/sect and always targeted person for revenge. But he did plan to eliminate Xiao's whole clan. He has part of it, tho in the end, he wasn't the one who actually do it. I have no sympathy for him.

Maybe he done so many bad things in the name of revenge. So when he get new information that difference from his initial assumption, i guess it is hard to accept that he makes a mistake. The hatred that he felt all of his life will feel like a joke of fate.

I think Yiren’s character is very unfortunate and sad, making us sigh in disappointment. He’s selfish, and his judgment is clouded by jealousy and greed. All the bad things that happen to him are really because of himself. I feel bad since he’s QS’s eldest brother and once the beloved son of the Xiao family, someone QS loved. But he just keeps making mistake after mistake…

XMM is the ghostwriter and also a victim of manipulation of his senior. Because of his admiration and his without parents, this bad senior of him was taking advantage of him all this time. Also, this story really fit with the 80th year national day china have (sorry i dont remember the name). Because the story is about righteous and protecting the country against invasion. And MM also fighting his bad senior who betrayed the country (inside and outside the novel). The plot is really very interesting and i love the complexity.

There is still a lot more to be revealed. And QS is stronger and cooler now! 🥰
