i’ve noticed this too. i think it’s because shows that focus on romance have subplots like love triangles and misunderstandings but shows with slight romance don’t have to focus on romance so it skips those subplots

the police officer isn’t even a good cop himself which is kind of hypocritical. it’d be different if Yoon Dong Man was someone who always followed rules/law but he was literally breaking rules lmao
