it's a beauty standard in asia to have lighter skin, her works are not racist, she based it on her county's beauty standards. We aren't anti black, i can even actually say it's part of the culture too, not everything is about y'all, some ppl just have their own standards

i hated the Garvey's character here lol he was so guillible here and their story was uninteresting, the rest I love love love nongying I hope she gets more main roles same as changle and the prince and gongsunmo. the story was so good, except the fifth prince and zhuyan part, i would've skipped on those but I can't bc I can't stop looking at Zhu yan she's a goddess <8 same as changle and nongying i love them they are all visuals. I hated that nongying had bad ending omg Can't they just leave them with a happy ending 😭😭😭
This was so fun, it was short but interesting, somehow made me think it was a Netflix series. The plot was predictable to me as I've been watching a lot of some investigation type of series but this one I got hooked into, the acting was so good too.
i love yamazaki kento but why did she chose him ? he was so bland and- yk he wasn't fighting for her and meanwhile the sml was so much smarter and known adachis true side, and he deserves rita bc he was there when she needed someone the most, ??? another one of those second lead syndrome

there's definitely some jealous moments on the series, there's even some funny and goofy moments between the characters, and as far as I can remember, I didn't think it was that angst filled but there was definitely some cute couple moments.You might wanna watch it if you wanna know I don't want to spoil you too much HAHAHA and there are also some obstacles because of the love triangle, (it's messy) and because this series is more of an action series and it focuses on the plot which is defeating the japanese and some enemies. I saw some comments on yt saying that the government doesn't want any gay scenes in a historical drama (I don't get it, she was pretending to be a man??) some said that there's a 44 minute of deleted scenes, (i feel like these are some romantic scenes but bc of ccs it's deleted) you can still watch the deleted scenes on yt though :)

I kinda remember them being close, and in the end they walk away together so I assume they are together. At first too I was delaying my plan to watch it but I ended up loving it and wanting more so I watched the legends (kailu's drama too) and yes it sadly doesn't have a kiss scene bc it was deleted ?? but i am still satisfied with the hugs, and holding hands! plus Gu Yanzhen was so romantic, and you will love his character. Definitely worth watching so I recommend you to start watching it if you don't have anything to watch yet hahaha
