As others have mentioned the second half was a bit underwhelming, I think what they needed was a killer plot twist…
AFTER ALL, somehow, it was one of the students who killed Seo Byung Joo! That would have been so awesome and made the drama more memorable. A reason could be being related to the boy who died in the hit and run case, a brother, and his revenge. But nope, they played it safe and it felt that Ko's trial was over even before it started and... the drama kind of ended without any real excitement. Missed opportunity in my opinion.
I enjoyed it but I think one season is enough even though I like the actors. What hooked and kept me watching was the murder mystery but they kind of revealed the truth of it out of nowhere without any oomph or buildup for the big moment, and the criminal was the least interesting one out of all of them... After that it became another lets chase "an evil chairman" down-plot that we have seen so many times, that ended a bit rushed.
It did feel draggy at times and the endless discussions with all the law stuff often made me more tired than entertained, definitely not a drama to sit down and relax to after a hard day at work. I know its a law drama but it did feel excessive at times. I think they only had one song (?) and I liked it. Kim Myung Min was amazing as always. 7/10
