Yeahhhhh. I haven't seen the other two installments & through the spoilers here I now know the fates of these two but I don't REALLY, REALLY know. I am excited & anxious how they'll wrap all of this up in 8 episodes...And the show, up to Ep 30, is slighting hinting how SMY & SCH are going to start to differ on how they'll want to do things. We know SCH is up to something & SMY doesn't seem to know although there's a couple of scenes where I think he's at least suspicious 🤨. But everything is vague right now and it's stressing me out LOL.

Yes! I didn't watch anything else but three episodes of the anime. It isn't until you get to Ep 28 that you'll find yourself rewatching/rereading the dialogue to try to follow who's who but you should be good to at least Ep 18ish. And by that time you're too invested to drop it lol. It gets a little dull around 23-26 because of all the political imperial connections & then BAM(!) you're back in it. Your eyeballs will thank you from 1-6. 👀👁️👀

In Blood River, at the start, he did yield the sword to SMY but SMY didn't want it. Then SCH ceased it. If SMY didn't take on that role no one else is worthy in SCH's eyes. So...SMY...sadly unbeknownst to him and all played a role in their ending. He knew that SCH was not right but thought he could control or guide him through it all but in the end doesn't sound like SMY could change anything.

I got lost in Ep 28 when SMY, BHH & second master discussed the Prince Lanya rumor/scroll tidbit. I rewatched it but still couldn't follow. I'll wait until tomorrow to see what every one else says. Like I learned SCH ending but I need to see the beginning of it like what was the tipping point? And did SMY see it even at this early of a point?
