For me, I think there could be 2 soul shreds. The first one in the contract and the second misplaced at the end when ZYC had to kill Zhu Yan. So there is a backup of a backup once they find the second shred. LOL

What I meant is that if GJM's actions was meant to boost his favourite / preferred actor, it had backfired when everyone felt indignant of how Neo was treated and throw all their support behind Neo only instead of supporting equally for both Neo and TJR.
