I think with the uncut version, we get a proper closure. How TTEOTM ended in episode 40 broke our hearts. It was hopeful but it was open to interpretation. We already went through a roller coaster of emotions and to have it end like that. Sheesh...I am still not happy about it after 1 year. LOL I would have loved to see the ending depicted in the novel. But yes, waiting 1 year for part 2 of TTEOTM would have been one heck of a wait too.
LYF does not have as much action as TTEOTM. It's more of strategy and behind the scenes drama, like palace intrigue. Some folks may find this slow. But for me, it's ok, I just get to stare more at Weiwei. 😏😁😆😍
Hmm.....I would say that the LYF page is not like the TTEOTM page. TTEOTM page is still one of the best pages in MDL where everyone can comment freely their thoughts and opinions as long as it is done respectfully.

I like the 2 main teams, which are the Jing and Liu teams. Couldn't feel much for Cang Xuan as it was weird to look at him and XiaoYao being romantically involved as they are actually first cousins. And Feng Long is full on in the friendzone. He is the buddy you hang out with for drinks and doing crazy fun things together. Husband material...erm, I think not. LOL
