These days I have grown accustomed to the gorgeous costumes worn by Xixi and Weiwei. Those classics are gonna look so dated. Plus what was considered handsome then is now not considered handsome. Ahahahhaha....
But for the storyline and acting, I should give it a go.

Somehow I never got hooked on HK shows. Maybe the dubbed period dramas? Did catch a few Taiwanese ones. But those tend to cry too much for my liking. I mean a scene got stretched by all the crying. Unbelievable! LOL

Found out by accident. I am totally unfamiliar with Kdrama so brought up about Cdrama and was pleasantly surprised that so many colleagues know about Xixi, Weiwei, Zhanzhan. And that they even brought up Dylan and Zhang Linghe.
Talking and gushing about handsome men is the best way to end a work day. Ahahahhaha 😍😍😍

Laundry department is the worst!!! Hands must be in such bad shape after so much washing. At least kitchen will be warm during winter right? LOL
But if were living in those times, I think it is best not to enter the palace for jobs or marrying the emperor. We just sell noodles outside the palace or open a Moon Traven or something like that. Concubine is also a tough job in there. So much politics and fighting in the palace. Toxic environment. Bad for health and life. Go in, may never come out again unless one is very intelligent and wily or a very lucky person.

A colleague who was like a zombie the whole day, asked who we were talking about. When she heard we were talking about Xixi, she suddenly energized and ran over to add on about Xixi and her other favourite Chinese actors. 😝😂🤣

For my office, nobody is in the mood to work. All looking sleepy and dazed. Systems restarting. LOL It was evening and colleagues started talking about language classes and Asian dramas.
I randomly said, I don't know much about Kdrama but do you know Luo Yunxi for Cdrama? And the gals all squealed a YES. We started talking excitedly about Xixi, Deng Wei, Xiao Zhan and of course if we are talking about good looking Chinese actors, the gals had to bring in Dylan Wang and Zhang Linghe as well. One said Xixi is so handsome to her that she is dazed by his good looks. LOL
They loved TTEOTM. The common comment is that Xixi's makeup so thick. So I explained to them about the accident and that broke some hearts. All in all, it was a nice way to end the workday.🌝❄️
