Somehow Cang Xuan is just meh for me. I prefer Xiang Liu followed by 17. Let see how it goes as the story progresses. I might change my mind.

Yes, he had a lot bottled up during his hostage prince days. When he opened his mouth to say something, he made every word count. 🗡️ into the heart. LOL

Story line is good so far but I suspect some scenes got cut as sometimes scenes don't flow as smoothly for some episodes, like referring to a scene which was not shown. Fight scenes not as epic as TTEOTM but not too shabby. CGI is as per the standard issue for cdrama, so take it or leave it I guess. Acting is ok. Costumes are meh so far in current arc, but maybe in the later arcs we would get nicer costumes? I guess we would tend to go back to compare with TTEOTM for all costume dramas now. Even TTJ's hostage prince "rags" were beautiful! Overall I love it and this drama I will definitely finish watching. So much eye candy I cannot complain. LOL 😍😍

Deng Wei is radiating some Xiao Lin vibes here. They could have tried to differentiate him more from XL of TTEOTM. One of his costumes just made me think did XL pop by for a visit? It could be his acting too. Overall he is a sweet puppy. Can't help but root for him.

Tan Jian Ci gives ice prince vibes with his white hair and cold demeanor. But under that is a passionate heart, secretly in love but denying it. So bittersweet. Good acting, from not liking him, I am now rooting for him.

Zhang Wan Yi does not do much for me. I think some folks will beg to differ, but for me I just find his character kinda meh. But again, let's see how it goes as the story progresses. For now his character is vanilla for me.

Yang Zi is a different kind of beauty compared to BL 🦌 and Reba. But she is very adorable in her role as Xiao Yao and has some chemistry with Deng Wei. But after YunLu's explosive kisses, I am not expecting much from their kiss scenes. Or any of the kiss scenes for that matter. Come on guys, level up on your kissing. 👄👄

So many dramas so little time, I had to decide which to watch first, so sampled the first few episodes of each. I was hooked on LYF. Easy decision with all that eye candy. 😍😍

I was rooting for sweet baby fox 17 🦊 from the start, but Xiang Liu is steadily growing on me. His love language is love by doing things for XY. Awww...so sweet in his own way.

I don't really fancy Cang Xuan, all I feel is his brotherly love. I am still catching up on episodes, not fully up to speed intentionally as this one does not have a daily drop of episodes. I will thirst to death waiting for new episodes. But at least now there are more dramas going on and when all else fails, there is our TTEOTM!! Anyway, let's see how it goes when Suitor 4 shows up.

I find it fun to discuss other dramas with our Moonies here. The shows respective MDL pages don't seem to have the same camaraderie as we do. They discuss, but the vibe is not the same.

All religions teach goodness and tolerance.

In every religion, I guess there are a few nuts who spew things out of context and are extreme. Unfortunately, all it takes is for a few nuts to give a bad impression on an otherwise peaceful religion. We have plenty of examples of that in the real world. It is important not to let these nuts colour our views (on religion, people, race, country etc). Most of the time, nuts are just sad, misguided souls who are probably seeking some attention along the way too.

Anyways, this nut provided a lot of entertainment to all of us who love TTEOTM and C costume dramas. I had a good laugh too at the review. 😂🤪

It was a bit strange for me to see TTML as a good guy. I never noticed him before, but because I first saw him as TTML in TTEOTM, when I saw him again in Mysterious Lotus Casebook, first thought was oh, greasy Scarface is here. 😂🤪 Oh nooo....I hope by the time I finish watching the drama, I would stop associating him with Scarface. LOL I paused MLBC to watch Lost you forever and complete LOA.

I just could not stop watching after 1 episode of Lost You Forever. So much eye candy. 😍😍🤤🤤 Deng Wei is the sweetest baby fox. I like Xiang Liu too, but that boy is so toxic. Who do you like among the MLs there?

I remember a troll that came by here a while back to say this show is satanic or something along those lines. Like where is the connection? Even in Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales for kids, there is the wicked witch cooking children and the good hunter who comes to put a stop to it etc. Harry Potter movie also had some pretty dark moments in there for something classified as a kids movie. You can't tell a story with just Yang and no Yin. Both are needed for balance.

Even in real life, the world is all shades of Yin and Yang. If there was no bad, there will be no good needed right? Sheesh...now I've gone all philosophical. 😂🤣🤪

I remember Day 1 of TTEOTM...

I hit the play button. TTEOTM soundtrack comes on...exciting stirring opening song. Opens to an epic scene, nice. Around the 2.5minute mark, Xixi comes on as DG v2, with red eyes, on his demon chariot throne, in black Sauron like armour done up cdrama style, black drapes blowing gently in the breeze and just sexily looking into my soul with his elbow on his knee, I was a goner, slave to his drama!⛓️ Could not tear myself away to do anything else but to watch the drama till the end of the episode. DADDY!!!! 🙇‍♀️🙇🙇‍♂️

I must say our man Xixi does not disappoint. He only gets better with time, like a fine wine. 🍷🍷🥰🥰😍😍
