It was a thing of beauty I thought. The story though cliche was beautifully presented. Costumes were nice too. The scenes where DL thought Mark Chao's character was being immoral was hilarious. By day surrounded by young men, by night surrounded by young ladies. Tsk tsk tsk....LOL
The end hit really hard because of the flash backs and when Wang Duo's character said he will come back and do the same thing, protect her. AWWWW.....ugly cry all the way for me after that. Loved it. Might go back for a rewatch. 😊
Did you watch the movie "Yin Yang Master: Dream of Eternity" starring Deng Lun and Mark Chao?
I was just thinking how EPIC it would be to watch TTEOTM as a movie format at the cinema and Yin Yang Master just popped into my mind. It was very unfortunate that the Yin Yang Master: Dream of Eternity director was plagued with plagiarism lawsuits that caused it to be withdrawn from the cinemas. If we were to just look at just the movie itself with CGI, costumes, makeup, storyline I think it was very beautifully done. Deng Lun and Mark Chao are obviously great actors and brought their characters to life and not to mention they look good in costumes. The support actor, Wang Duo was also brilliant and brought to life the 2 characters he played.
I get the feeling the LYX, BL and YunLu supporters have setup camp here! LOL. All brought together because of TTEOTM. It is great to see a healthy exchange of notes / information on each camp's beloved stars, all done in a respectful way. Everyone gets to learn a lot on LYX and BL along the way. Nice!👍

Remember that crazed evil look in the earlier episodes 4 or 5 when after both he and LYX have been rescued from that dream demon and were resting. He was sitting there with a pair of scissors contemplating if he should kill YXW and she comes in. He turns around....that look!! My knees went weak! 😍
