In fairness to the writer, most if not all these NK - SK shows end this way.
But facts speaking,this was the only SK-NK drama that was tragic ,the remaining had a better ending than this

The problem why everyone is frustrated with the sad ending including me is because the leads didn’t have many happy moments together throughout the drama
There were many frustrating scenes and they were always on the loosing side till end and on top paired with a brutal ending to make a viewer have sour mouth,,,,a happy ending would have made me forget all those episodes

For example take youth of May /red sleeve/scarlet heart……I had many moments to cherish while watching Those dramas if I want to rewatch them

But the rewatch value is 1/10 for me because there were very few moments they both were happy…..leave about rewatch I’m not going to watch the finale episode….it’s going to spoil my mood for few days
