I went into Study group with low expectations since it is not my type of genre but I enjoyed it so much, watching this drama trending picked my attention then realized it is same universe as Study Group Im already binge watching on episode 3 so I think I will end this soon it is so good!!!!

um as long as I know he didn't betrayed her (that's what it seems to her) but he didn't know he trust his brother and wanted to help her so technically not a backstabbing for me

I think the drama is entertaining enough, I have seen top billed and multiple couples cast dramas failed big time and doesn't keep me engaged, this one I liking it a lot, loving maybe not but I became a fan of Du Ling 2 dramas ago and I already watched most of her mains already so I hope she gets the dramas she deserves, I feel her and LiQin are so underated actresses but still make it in the industry because they beautiful and can act no traffic actresses looking for fame but good roles...

Well, to each its own, i like when a character shows emotions through crying, I do in real life i cry when Im happy, I cry when Im pissed, Im cry when Im sad etc. crying is good

a slump meaning she/he probably has tried but hasnt like any or nothing at all....I find this drama more interesting than any of the ones you mentioned above this is more straight to the plot the others is aesthetic over content IMO yes enjoyable but too lengthy for my taste! I was on a kdrama slump until my Royal nemesis yes watch a few kdramas but none would keep my entire attention or anticipation....

I don't agree actually about the face card, compared to the dramas this year don't have as much as those others, but i like this is a more plot, character driven drama than romance so we will avoid the constant silly romantic aesthetic consecutive romantic stares between leads Im on episode 6 and I liked this drama more than the other buzzzed chdramas this year hope it keeps this pace it is 24 eps drama so I feel it will....

I have seen in support didn't pay too much mind, but then she grabbed my attention in Veil of Shadows, then went to watch FOF, the Glory and I think I have one more with her as main and this one I love her she is beautiful and she is not one dimmensional IMO

Will see Im not a novel reader, so I didn't picture him in my mind before, so far it is ok this is more a FL driven drama so let's see for me al chactors have the same waist as the FL so no biggy for me

there is the 3 years gap, from when he got beaten up and she stood up for him to when she came back to see his father from the capital so I think it was a one way crush but 2nd life will be different but maybe novel readers know better....

Catch up first episodes and I loved watching mainly for Du Ling she nailed this character from spoiled little girl to the queen and vengeance plot.....love me a strong Female Lead.....also comments about the ML please this guy can act specially this kind of quiet roles and the chemistry is there I have 20 years watching dramas I can tell when there is or there isn't......anyways lets enjoy this only 24 eps my only complain so far!

Well his acting is good is not about muscles isn't it, when it comes to MLs? lol ZhangLinHe is as skinny as him and also young, same with all the other actors give me a name of buffed chactor please.....lol for me is the acting and one can be tiny but strong in any fantasy chdrama if not, did you watch the FL in Pursuit of Jade? so I love first episodes anyways ML is fine and Du Ling is doing fantastic.....

I just re-watched this for the 3rd time one of my fave chdramas because I love Li Qin and I became XZ fan here, so I would love to see them together again in a drama!

I was going to ask about second female lead so a reel with Jae Wook to see if they were a 2nd couple but it seems a one way love.
