I read somewhere that they trimmed about the SFL childhood scenes. Was the mom of the young actress?Still, the part it was confusing, is the following. At first, I thought it was a soul who traveled in the future, then a reincarnation story of a person who remembered her past life, not an actual soul swap. The scene reminded me of AoS. The build up was not done correctly.
We did not see Kang Dam Sim. All the time it was Shin SeoRi who became Kang Dam Shim.
The story is pretty good, but there are some things in the script that should be done in earlier episodes. Yes, the chakkanim is a newbie. I don't know if they had to trim the script in order to be a 14 epidode show, so that erased some things that left unsaid. But, it involved a body swap, a time loop and reincarnation. We were not introduced at Kang Dam Shim at all. Her POV was not showed at all. We don't know who the Shaman Lady is, although we can now say that she was some kind of Deity. Also, the girl who poisoned SSR, we don't know her motives at all. Things like that makes me give it a 9,5.
Im Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun stole the show with their chemistry and charisma. Everyone loved "My Royal Nemesis" because of them.
Will I come back to it? Most likely yes. I was invested in their story and I continue to be. I am satisfied with the ending...
After writing my thoughts yesterday, I am concluding that Shin SeoRi is an "unreliable narrator". So, hopefully, we will find out what has happened in the past and how SR interpreted it, by using KDS as her powerful shield.
Okay, my two cents about what is happening with Shin SeoRi. It was never a time travel thing, we believed that in the beginning, because the first sequence was misleading. It is a reincarnation trope. Kang DamSin was her previous life.
For some unknown reason, most likely the comet or the girl who poisoned her, did something again, that woke up her previous life's memories. In the first episodes she believed she was KDS. It was so real to her maybe because of her near death experience her brain chose to" forget " who she was and what happened to her. Hence her inability to act. And seriously a child was almost drown when her parents decided to d%e, and everybody wanted her to act?
In the flashbacks, we see her as a powerful Concubine, because she said so. She wanted to be strong. KDS became her powerful shield Yes, it could be a real memory or a projection of who she could be.
I believe from the very beginning that the comet is a symbol aka the hand of God to bring justice and resolution to their entangled past life.Mundo will pay. Haraboji is awful and Cha Se Gye was hurt tremendously as well as a child.

I know all this information as well about the Palace Ladies (in waiting). It is not the first Historical drama I am watching. Their father, the King should investigate and see what really happens with his sons. If the King doesn't have information inside his Palace is something really stupid. If he simply lets his Concubine's son to kill or eliminate his other sons from the Queen. In the scenes we are watching the evil King is now the Crown Prince. So their Father is still alive.
