Look at it this way outside of fandoms, most people aren't watching what they're watching, and they definitely don't all share the same opinion. They want everyone to believe their favorites are universally loved, but if that were actually true, they wouldn't need to lie or manipulate scores to make them look so great, would they?

But see, that's just the thing though that's bullshit. The ratings are getting tanked here by toxic stan behavior, and you can tell because the reception is much stronger on platforms that reach a wider mix of viewers instead of being driven by organized fandom activity. Outside of coordinated fan suppression, regular viewers are actually giving it the scores it deserves.

Bitters are fighting for their lives trying to convince everyone how bad this series is when the actual viewers are out there enjoying it. 🤣 The funniest thing about it is they tried to run the exact same show with Only You last year, and it completely backfired. You would think people would learn from the last time but apparently they’re into doing reruns now. 🤣🤣🤣

Real talk, the show went from a 9.1 here to a 7.7 overnight and just stayed there. Users literally timed it perfectly right before the Thai update would decide to do a ranking of highest rated GL’s based off MDL scores to try and make the drop look organic, before that came out but seriously bitter fans made it their full-time job to tank the score. X already clocked that and called it out. So It just proves these open user ratings are a joke and only reflect how chronically online and heavily biased you bitters are.

Let’s stop the cap. I watch K-dramas too, and I know enough about film and television to tell the difference between personal bias and actual impact. In Love Forever is only heading into episode 5, so it is way too early to make that kind of conclusion. As for Only You talk about it however and as much as you want, but that show got the job done. We are seeing the real time results of the lane it blew wide open. Even if the story was imperfect, what they did last year for GL was historic and the numbers were milestones. Comparing those peaks to this year's numbers is completely pointless; to as now you're just looking at a market that has already stabilized. And compared to what we’re seeing from the competitor network? With their cheap production quality, terrible CGI, lazy tropes, and couples being blatantly typecast at this point, I wouldn't even begin to argue about better plots and development. Seriously, some of you GL fans are toxic as hell. You can argue all day over absolutely nothing, just because you have too much free time.

No different than a kdrama.

In my opinion the way some people need characters and the actresses playing them to practically look at the camera and explain their emotions PowerPoint style just to clock the chemistry is so literalist. If you lack the film literacy to read the room when a performance is subtle just say it as right now It’s giving baby needs to be spoon fed.

We need to discuss character repetition in GL series. There’s one specific couple who seems locked into a royal archetype. At this point, if they sign onto another princess project, the lack of versatility is going to be painful to watch just like their last series which sucked.

That’s not the reason people are hating on it. People are hating on it simply because it’s a LingOrm series and they can’t hide it anymore so let’s stop making excuses for them.

The rating was much higher, but has now stagnated at 7.7 with zero new written reviews, proving that toxic factions have stopped engaging in actual critique. Instead, driven by fandom insecurities, they are weaponizing the system by mass-scoring the series far below its actual worth. the reason I know this is because it’s scoring much higher elsewhere by actual viewers and so because they can't manipulate the results on other major platforms where the score remains significantly higher, they've resorted to quietly tanking the scoring here. 😂.

The obsession with policing good reviews is crazy. They do this to literally everyone, then start glitching and repeating themselves the moment they're confronted. Don't even waste your energy countering their fake takes or answering questions. Just post your content and keep it moving. You don't owe them a single thing.

This is literally their entire life, and they only do this behind a screen because they have zero presence in real life. just enjoy the show because watching Zetas try to cos-play as Alphas is hands down the most embarrassing free show around. 🎬😭

At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you created these accounts yourselves just to have something to counter complain about. 😂 But please explain all the positive reviews across other platforms from actual people even going live and talking about the show. They are visibly distinct individuals giving genuine positive feedback. Ahhhh... the plot thickens! when you live to rage bait something is very wrong.
