I really enjoyed this series! ❤️ the writers and the actors did an amazing job 🙌🏼 it’s the first kdrama that is less predictable with an addictive storytelling. I also found it in good taste. I don’t get the comments were they feel offended 🤷🏼‍♀️ - the only provocative/ adult part were the drawings and if you can’t handle that much… Anyways for those having doubts give it a try and decide for yourself! 😉

I really didn’t understand the breakup in season 2. She had a man that supported her, trusted her, communicated honestly, helped her grow as a person and career. You will never have a long lasting relationship or marriage if you can’t talk openly about some fleeting feelings and move on together and trust each other. I think Yumi lacked introspection. She never asked herself “what can I do to be a better person, a better partner?”. She always just said egoisticly “I want to be happy”. But that’s just my take. Otherwise worth the watch because it’s different from other kdramas.

It’s a bit childish and the FL character quite immature for age BUT nevertheless way more entertaining and well made than I expected. Of course you have to be into a romance series that’s more than 50% animated. I’m still not sure if I will watch the 2nd season or not.

I know what you mean.🫶🏻 I don’t get it either. Humans have always been sexual creatures and what we see in modern kdramas is not at all the Korean reality. Further more I think this series is talking about intimate things in a very decent and tasteful manner. That book and the drawings are supposed to be “scandalous” thus the name of the series. Anyways each with their own taste and artistic vision I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I finally started to watch this on Youku (made a subscription especially for this) and its an amazing series, much better quality than expected. The issue is we are stuck with the same first 8 episodes and no news about episode 9 and more. I’m worried again 😩

yes but still as you have seen nothing actually happs between any of the characters yet it’s funny/silly for an anime.

If you watch the ongoing anime series in Netflix you will understand:) but overall nothing wired happens.

I love this series 🫶🏻it’s so captivating and addictive and I usually never watch custome period series. I think despite what people say it’s very well made with an interesting plot even if not perfect.

Maybe unpopular opinion here but I like how they are not revealing too much from the past and we get to discover the main leads characters and personalities gradually while there’s still some mystery. 🙌🏼I’m also enjoying that they all seem to gave a good and bad side. Cannot wait for the next episodes.

I had this series on my list for the longest time mostly because of the amazing cast💘 and second because of the high reviews. I tried my best to watch until half of it🥱 but dropped it as it was to difficult to complete. Felt too childish for me. I found “W” way more captivating and with a similar concept. I can see why people like this series but its just not for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

yeah exactly. I think I overestimated it and overhyped in my head before it started. Overall it lacks a lot in charm and maturity but the visuals are nice.

It’s nice and fluffy but I keep feeling something’s missing. Not sure yet what exactly… I’m not feeling the main leads chemistry.
Otherwise it’s nice and relaxing series. A good break after a long day.

I love Se Young as an actress but damn her character in this series feels like boxing bag🥊 😂 she’s so all over the place I feel like hitting this woman Kang Hee (and I’m not a violent person). I felt bad the entire series for all male characters but especially for the 2nd male lead. Overall with some skipping here and there I managed to watch because I enjoyed the filmography and how atmospheric it was. Overall it’s 7/10 from me.

Fit’s the story and i’s not entirely sad but they don’t end up together

The visuals and the acting was really good but as it’s a Chinese series I was pretty sure they will end with this type of sad ending. Other than that there were some plot holes that didn’t make sense but the story was beautiful in itself. True love demands sacrifices.
