Wait why are there KimChay/JeffBarcode haters? I bet it was because of Gameplay got replaced and they are jealous…
Some of it is about Gameplay but mostly people seem to be over that now. A lot of the hate comes from the age gap I guess. I don't see anything wrong with it, Jeff and Barcode are obviously comfortable around each other, plus Barcode is 17, going to be 18 in August, he was obvioulsy fine with doing this show when he auditioned and signed on (as were his parents) and he was obviously fine with Jeff as his partner. Age gaps imo aren't taboo as long as both parties consent to them (acting and in real life). I know so many people in my life that are in an age gap relationship, my parents (10 years), my husband and I (7 years), my best friend and her husband (8 years), they're more common then people seem to think.
I guarantee you though, the minute Barcode hits 18 in August, you'll see most of them go away because they won't have much of anything to complain about anymore (even though they shouldn't be complaning now, Barcode is 17 not 12...like I swear some people talk like he's a child not a teenager on the verge of being considered a legal adult in a lot of places). It's like MaxNat, same idea, 10 years age gap, back in Why R U people were so up in arms about them because Nat was what 16 or 17? Same as Barcode in this show. Now though Nat is 19 and nobody seems to complain anymore when him and Max are together...I suspect the same thing will happen with Jeff and Barcode.

Like Macau and Porchay friendship? Yes please, I want that interaction and Macau will definitely be a part of the KimChay angst but the romantic shipping is going too far now. First it was the VegasPorsche shippers now it's the MacauChay shippers...we can't catch a break

Exactly, which I think is perfectly valid considering the world and circumstances surrounding them. I think some people are starting to blow it slightly out of proportion though and twisting the actors words into their own narrative, when I would honestly just wait ans see what happens and not jump to conclusions right away.
Also, the JeffBarcode/KimChay haters are really getting on my nerves with the whole TaBarcode/MacauChay shipping thing...like it was cute at first with the ghost shipping but some are taking it too far now and just using it to freak out over their age gap even more...twitter is the worst with it and it's starting to give me a headache.

3 things learned about upcoming KP episodes- 1-KinnPorsche will most likely break us in both good ways and bad ways during episode 9 and probably beyond because that's how sh@t works in this world (I really don't want to see sad Porsche again though...) 2-VegasPete will destroy us in the coming episodes...simply because it's VegasPete (Tawan needs to go f@ck off and hopefully die as soon as possible so I/we can see VegasPete asap!) 3-KimChay is probably going to kill us because of the angst they're going to go through (can these two just be happy together please?) It's sad seeing everyone going into depressed mode over them though, like I'm 99% certain they will be together in the end peoples, calm down, they'll just have trials and tribulations to go through and get over like all the other couples.
In conclusion, everyone please brace yourselves and calm down! Also, remember that KinnPorsche, VegasPete and KimChay are endgame, they'll find their (hopefully happy endings) together eventually. Remember the novel is on going and we're most likely going to get a second season, which I have no doubt all the actors will comeback for since they seem happy/content with BOC and they're enjoying the love and praise of the fans. We still have a while to figure out all of the relationships and to navigate the ups and downs of said relationships but we might have to be more patient to see the end results.
